Way to go at pokerz and the bj...black jack that is.
Champ of borderline OMC is right. You have given me glimpse of hope. After my guys trip this past March, I really wasn't planning on going this year. My wife has strongly urged me to go this coming March so I can see some friends and play a little poker. You have also shown that I just because I don't go crazy in Vegas I can still have fun.
Keep up the good work.

No purchase needed. Wash and air dried little damp so hair dryer will finish them up in a minute or so!

Always have a plan. Bring an extra means to secure your roll, we don’t always loose! Just maybe the positive vibes have through the rubber bands

LOL. I use the MIT formula? Count cards, do algebra and then when that fails I just wing it and “let the cards fall where they may.” Basically now days I start with $3 or $4 big bills to get the pit boss attention, when he shakes his head to drop the monies I push on intending to get up a couple Hundo and run for the hills before they bring in the ringer dealer. I try not to play too much. I will hit the pit a couple more times for a quick score but not too much ballin from me

With a military ID TR and MLife will upgrade u to the next level. The card and a good smile doesn’t do much but I think I get better room offers cause I am technically Plat with TR. you have to go in each year and renew.

Awesome, thought about doing this and was really worried after the first day I would stop and drop the ball. Believe it or not takes time typing on the phone and trying to come up with stuff but I figure when I read I just want to see the pics and learn how others roll for ideas. Love seeing the pics even if they mostly are the same old ones every time. The more important thing for me is it is holding me accountable so I don’t do the really stupid things. If playing poker and I play crappy I should report the big loss. That has helped

Love this, mild congestion, smoke and the dryness can take its toll. Will do this

I would do MM if you can in March. I would not even do a viewing party if I was solo. I would just get beers and walk from bar to bar and play cards also where you can watch the games.
Funny story, at least to me, we are all degenerate for the most part. In 2017 I decided to do MM in Vegas solo. In the end my son and DIL came for part. We all got in on Sat, differs time/flight. I was staying till Fri late they were leaving Tues. long story short. We drank, gamboled and just had a decent time. I was holding my own not up not down. The night before they left we said our goodbyes and I went to Bellagio. Played pretty good got in to the four am period where the locals are fishing. Good game, played solid. Took the normal cooler and dropped like $900. Of course the lead up to all good cooler stories is the background. Lady sitting next to me started drinking premium margaritas and I joined after a couple beers. That of course is the reason for most coolers, playing hands Rowe really should not, got in and hit my hand but got rivered decided to do the good thing and call it. Night. Well as I said that dealer from Vegas vacation was on call at Bally’s where I was staying and he waved me over with a kind smile.
Do you know where this is heading? Probably, but I will give you the rest of the story after a bit for some drama.

Even better (from a fellow Wisconsinite who has some sinus issues)...try some over the counter nose moisturizers (NeilMed has a couple, Nasogel and a Nasal spray). Standard for me in the Midwestern winters to fight dryness, even more in Vegas (apply multiple times).
Dry nose/sinuses are the enemy of a health sinus cavity.
Thread officially OMC-worthy, all the talk about dry noses and socks.
Enjoying and relatable for all of us non-ballers/clubbers. GL the rest of the trip!

Going to Uber to downtown shortly and do that tourist stuff. Trying to go a bit slow for a bit to conserve the winnings. Plan to play at Nugget for awhile. Wed I am doing the MUG game with Neeme and Owen at Weatgate so want to hit downtown and get a beer at Atomic! More to come

Re: Trip reports kind of slow
Picked up the wager winnings at PH before breakfast. $356 and change. After the tip I laughed and got ready to take a pic because it was classic treefitty but it really was 355 so not so funny. Still good mojo from being so close. Really should have gave the extra $5 to get it down to 350. I hope that is not negative mojo

Re: Trip reports kind of slow
We are here. Seems like a good game after two orbits. Lots of calling. In for $300. i feel Golden Nugget should expose a portion of the nugget in order for us to rub it for luck?
GN and downtown. Always love this area, classic Vegas. I feel the state of Nv and LV should do more to make a lot of these properties historic areas. I do get progress and the expense of upkeep, just random thoughts
When I lived here it’ll I was about 10 minutes away. Every couple of weeks I would talk the wife in to letting come down for Black Jack. Agreement was I took her to her favorite Mexican place then I got $20 to do the gambolz Even back then I was a high roller. I was not even 21 most of the time, no care back in the day

Re: Trip reports kind of slow
Ending the suspense from earlier. Back to poker MM week. I pulled my typical 3 big bills and with in a few minutes gone. Wipe that smile off your face dealer, more chips. 3 more. By the time I was done pretty sure he took my entire $1800 roll, I only came with 2k for many years, asked for a raise and got it to $3k last June. The only thing I had was $3.50, seriously and a slot ticket for $80 I found in my room after the son forgot to cash before airport. $80, run it up. I entered th$60 Bally’s morning donk tourney and finished one away from a small cash. Went to room and did not even attempt to gravel to the wife. Had to go to the angle shoot. Called said I busted and found a return flight that night cost was around $200. She tanked and called my bluff “ohh, that is too bad, see you tonight.” What? I admitted defeat and offered to hold true to the agreement, at least offer a sponsorship. Nope so I put the tail between my legs and went home.
This is Wed now remember, I don’t consider the play in games to really be MM so the tourney really had not even started. Next morning I was on the couch when the DIL walked in, started talking to the wife and it finally hit her I was sitting there. “What are you doing here, I thought you were there till Saturday”. Yes dear, long story. I got to watch all the basketball from the comfort of my own couch. Stupid story time over!

Some are good, some not so much...I still liked the Senior 6-max that Jimmy ran in Durant last January.
And obviously I have to include the PH Seniors event since I final tabled it in June LOL!

Oh man, I've had that happen before. Granted, it was after two previous trips where I lost more than I was supposed to, but the next time she actually found the flight for me. LOL Hell, my wife can tell how my trip is going from how often I text and my tone of voice on the phone. Even after all the years, she still wants me to go on the guys MM trip.

Agreed, I have not stated how well I am doing. Bad mojo and I still have almost 2 days so can’t offer details to her yet. Love it she made the plane reservation for ya! Thoughtful

Re: Trip reports kind of slow
Mid session at GN. History post.
I remeber going in to Golden Gate for Black Jack and each of the tables had trays of cigarettes for players. Anyone remember this? Picture of first phone in Vegas so dude could call home for more money? No cigarettes on tables but I have not seen a vending machine selling them in some time either
