Starting bankroll $4000ish. This trip report should include, Poker, Pits, Slots, Food & Fun! Let's GO !.

We made it, landed Late Sunday evening. Sat on the tarmac for a literal hour while we waited for a gate to clear.

By the time we got a rental car, In-and-out was already closed and we went thru McDonald's drive thru and, I kid you not, they said they were only serving "spicy chicken nuggets". Nothing else . . .

Got checked in and I went straight to bed, wife played slots 'til daylight and win +$100.

Breakfast at The Squeezed Inn then the $400 Triple Draw Lowbal 3 game at Orleans!

So, yesterday was one of the main reasons we set our trip schedule for these dates, the triple-draw lowball 3 game mix tourneys. Did well with a top 10 finish ! It took all day and night to finish wrapping about 2 am.

A trip to the craps table for a break even session.

Today was relaxation day with some first thing in the morning blackjack. I ended up losing $150 but my wife was up just under $100. Pool time followed by breakfast which was great!

After a long nap, headed down to Ellis Island for some craps and yummy craft beers. Won about $60 on craps before we headed to dinner. Lotus of Siam is one of our favorites and it didn't disappoint!

As the Mirage is on the implosion list, we headed down to watch (possibly) the last chance at the volcano show and found an open spot on the "crapless" craps table. Ended up negative $140.

Tomorrow's another day and there is some poker on the schedule!

Started the morning off with some slots and then a trip to the Venetion for breakfast. Played Stadium Blackjack for a couple hours and held my own, actually up a bit more that $50.

Had a walk thru the poker tournament area and watched some gondolas, more slots then downtown for a $200 H.O.R.S.E. tourney at Golden Nugget.

Having known then what I know now I would have skipped that tourney as it was an express turbo. Never could get anything going and busted out when eights full of jacks < quad sixes. Was fun aside from busting about level 12 & the "table captain" sun running.

Headed to the poker room for some 3-6 limit. Well that went good, very good. Up over $350. I hesitate sharing the absolute horid experience I had heading to the craps tables. Let's just say I am NO fan of a certain YouTube creator who was visiting from the central Pacific.

Back to the hotel and in bed about 3 am.

I’m going to be there from 6/22-6/26 and plan to hit up The Mirage one last time and play in a Golden Nugget tournament too.

Give us another hint or at least the story with the YouTuber…

Thursday was a bit more relaxing and not a bunch of running around.

Breakfast at Siegals which is fantastic and inexpensive. A little slot play and then to the MGM pool complex for a swim, some sight seeing and a trip to Southpoint for dinner / gambling.

I had the Tomahawk Ribeye from the Silverado Steakhouse which was amazing. The service is outstanding here.

About 2 hours of O8 and a nice score just under $200. Off to the UTH tables where I hold my own then back for a night's rest.

Been a great trip so far but nearing it's end unfortunately

Alright, I don't even care to go into more detail. I headed to the craps table after the tourney at Golden Nugget. There was an open spot and I walked up, proceeded to take my wallet out and a Hawaiian guy to my left (who happens to run a YT craps channel) puts his arm in front of me and says "this is a private table". The guy to my right laughs and says "he told me the same thing, it's not". The YT Hawaiian tells me "don't buy in, middle of a roll". I' tell him that I am well aware of etiquette and am not buying in until the roll is over. He proceeds to tell me, "you cant buy in , it's a private table" which I reply with, I'll buy in whenever I want but I will wait until the roll is over.

I look to the boxlady and she tells me it is NOT a private table at which point the Hawaiian guy literally puts his arm up and physically touches me, holding my away from the table a few inches. Tensions build and some of the Hawaiians friends chime in saying, "Mel, chill out, leave the guy alone". I inform everyone, I am well aware of buy in etiquette in the middle of a roll, and I will wait. The shooter, part of the Hawaiian crew, fist bumps me, tells me to buy in at my pleasure, thanks me and proceeds to shoot. Mel, continues to hold his arm in front of me, making physical contact, literally touching me. His buddies again, encourage him to stop. I ask him to stop touching me and he does. Shooter 7 outs, and I walk to a different table.

Never had such an inappropriate and rude encounter at the craps table and I have played for over 20 years. I was upset mainly that the table crew allowed this Mel clown to literally physically touch me. F that guy.
