Greyhound no good, -400. Not a great start but played fine I think and still early days.

Also, bag has been found and is en route! Very happy about that and almost worth the $400 in tilt relief...almost.

Vity made me laugh last night. Gets handed a bunch of hooker cards. "Oh wow," and ponders, "if you actually wanted one, how are you supposed to decide? Some look a bit slutty...I'd discard those."

Aria 1pm maybe on the agenda. Some pics from this morning:

Then played some Blackjack at Planet Hollywood and took a walk across to Caesars to play there too. After that I had to get to sleep, was struggling a lot to stay interested. Low key day 0.5 summary:

Poker: +50
Casino War: +30
Blackjack: -160
Running total: -80

It's 5.48am and I post this fresh after some sleep from the B poker room. Vamo!

You are now the resident War expert. How does it work? Where does the house get its edge?

Greyhound is a drink, and I think the LVL signature run good drink. Sometimes the rungood machine is a bit out of sync though and doesn't always work.

Pig4bill - if your card ties with the dealer you have to double your bet and you go again, but can only win your original stake rather than doubled bet. Kind of sucks to be honest!

This morning was fun, we hit up the Venetian and had a good free bet blackjack session where I got level from the brink of another loss. Had an awesome cab driver from Venetian to Linq who was mad at the Venetian taxi doorman because he wouldn't let my driver come back in line for such a short trip. "Ugly mother****er,", he decried. Driver was gangsta as hell, and a really cool guy. Tipped him generously and hopefully de-tilted him.

Vity spied this enormous slot machine as we walked out of Venetian. Insisted on playing it, so one of the guys joined and went halves on the liability. It's $5, $10, or $15 per spin. They rinse off $100 at $5 per spin in about 6.2 seconds. Vity feeds in another hundo. "Maybe we need to up the stakes" he muses.

I left them still at it, because I want to get to the Aria for the 1pm. In before they're busto from this ludicrous slot.

I've never played casino war but my understanding is that the casino's edge comes from how it handles ties.

Ahhh, I see. I literally thought you were heading somewhere on a Greyhound bus. I always referred to that drink as a salty dog, but apparently the difference is that a salty dog needs salt on the rim.

I love grapefruit but am not a fan of that drink because the citric acid + alcohol combo tries to tear my throat out. My drink of choice is a Vodka Sprite (preferably Tito's vodka) with some grapefruit juice in it Great grapefruit taste and goes down much smoother. I'm on a poker life heater so you might want to give that one a try if the greyhounds aren't doin' the trick.

Haha thanks Dream Crusher, we might need that!

Five50 for lunch as prep for shipping Aria 1pm. Preparing for a deep, mojito-fuelled run.

Hero'd a guy with K high. He had the fullest of houses, wp me. Not worry though!

Made an accounting error in a previous poast. Claimed to be even at free bet blackjack at Venetian, actually +3 vodka red bulls. That's a winning session.

Enjoying your TR.

Funny about the roman numeral floor V!

Did you book direct with Virgin for your flight? That's a great price to get over there for.

Thanks again for all the nice comments! Just doubled in the Ariaament with a set of trup QQ versus AK on QxxKx. Gave a little back going for super thin value with a set on a 4-flush board lol but still well above average. 4 mojitos deep and accidentally paid $10 for one of them.

The worst thing about Brexit I think is that a table-side massage is now essentially £2 per minute. At like £1.40 per minute it felt like just about acceptable spew. Now, it seems pure whale. However, I haven't flown 10 hours to balk at the price of a poker massage, so we're an additional $60 into this donkament.

Got around 28k at 21k avg but in the middle of misplaying TT.

Funny moment with the masseuse. Had been chatting a lot with the guy to my right and he recently visited Brighton, near where I'm from. He said, "what's the place that was built for the king in Brighton? Like a palace or a chateau of something?

Unsure, but there's only one option really, "Brighton Pavillion?"

"Yeah! What is a pavilion?"

"Well it's kind of its own thing really, not a palace or a chateau, it's a pavilion!"

Then the masseuse chimed in: "yeah, a chateau is like, a house in the mountains."

Err...I think that's a chalet.

28k at 24k avg going into 600/1200/100. Run-it-up time.

Day 2 was fun. After busting the Aria, I took a nap and collected my no-longer-lost bag, and met the other guys in O'Sheas. Drank a lot and played Blackjack, before heading outside for the Craps spin up which was a lot of fun.

Was absolutely pounding vodka red bulls throughout so was toasted soon after and the rest of the evening was spent hanging out at the Linq drinking. Still not quite adjusted to the time difference so was in bed around midnight and obviously wide awake at 4am, so now I'm showered and ready to hit up the B for sweet morning revenge. Wearing the nut cardigan and don't think it's possible to lose with it on.

F starving after skipping dinner yesterday.

Poker: -575
War: +30
Blackjack: -160
Craps: +350
Hustle: -20
Massages: -60
Running total: -435 (I think, brain isn't really working)

Change of plan. Decided to head up to the Wynn. Sitting deep at 1/3 with a hammered guy who at the moment is quite funny but will probably get old quite soon. There's also a guy with a Red Card and I don't know what that means but think it means he's balla/degenerate.

In for 5. Almost certainly a terrible idea. Treat me nice Steven.

Got some from the drunk guy, bet three streets got two of value. Possibly should have checked river to let him bluff since he's clicking buttons.
