Hey guys

I've searched for answers on the following, but can't seem to get clarity on them.

I have 3 questions:

1. Do the LV casinos have charging ports for phones? I'm aware PH have USB slots (I think?) at their poker tables, but do anywhere else? If not, do they have charging booths?

2. Do we need to buy tickets beforehand for nightclubs to ensure entry? (6 guys going)

3. Is there a list of freerolls anywhere that run in Vegas (ideally strip based casinos)

Thank you.

Bellagio, Aria and Venetian have USB ports. IDK on q2. Not sure about q3, although Bravo might mention it in the room description.

Thank you Machfour.

Do PH not have USB ports at their poker tables?

Also one other question, I'm from England, and was wondering what the best/recommended way is to get dollars to Vegas? How does it work with taking money out of the machines there or is there another way?

Thanks

Depending on club and night, buying tickets presale is a good idea if you don't want to wait for hours or pay to pass the line.

But even if you have tickets, there's going to be a line for ticket holders and you should come early enough before the club reaches capacity,

You can use ATMs the same way as in England. Machine fees for credit card withdrawals vary, casino royale only charges $1. There might be additional fees from your bank.

Travellers cheques are great for Vegas - you can cash them at any of the casino cashiers.

I wouldn't pre buy tickets to a club. As someone said there will still be a massive line to wait with or without pre bought tickets. The pre bought tickets line will be shorter but still insane long.

My advice is don't pre buy tickets and then bribe a bouncer/promoter/etc to get in and skip line. Or do bottle service since with 6 people the cost of waiting in line, cover, and drinks is usually equal or around equal to what you'll pay for a table

Between saving 20-40% on the ticket price on presale and not having to tip a bouncer if you're willing to wait 30-60 minutes in line for ticket holders, you pay less than half to get into the club though.

If you want to make good use of your time in line, bring 2-3 drinks/person and do the pre-drinking while waiting to get in. By doing that, you might also get through the night with only a couple more drinks from the bar. That brings the cost/person to under $100 in case you are on a budget.

Line waits at any decent place are far over 30-60 minutes on a good night. I had pre sale tickets to whatever club Mcgregor was at after his loss at UFC 196 and I waited almost 2 hours in line still. Waiting two hours for a club that's only good for 6 hours a so or night is such a waste of time. Pay some extra and skip the line. Worth whatever it costs to not waste two hours

They get good around 11 and are open until 4 or so. You can arrive before 11 but most clubs aren't "good" until 11 or so. They get good later since they are open later into the night

Maybe on a special night, but not at any regular one if you come no later than 10:30. We had weekend passes for Marquee on MDW a couple years back and waited less than one hour both nights. Same a couple weeks later for EDC weekend.

Even if they don't close around 3 - 3:30, they get pretty empty by that time. Most people who don't do drugs and started drinking in the AM just can't handle it that much longer. If you need a taxi, leaving a club between 2 - 3 isn't a very good time.

Assuming this is true which I kind of agree with makes your point about it being fine to wait in line even more stupid. If a club is only really good for three hours or so a night you don't want to waste that time in line

No need to pre buy tickets. Most places have charging ports. Wouldn't worry too much about carrying cash, unless you are very careless. I wouldn't go through the hassle of Travelers Checks. Each person is different on what risk they are willing to take, so whatever works for you is the best move.

If you get there by 10:30, you are inside the club when the best couple of hours start. Alternatively, you pregame in your room orbon the casino floor and pay for a line pass. Just depends on your budget.

But that's in cities where people don't start to get wasted at the pool before noon and drugs are at least tolerated to some degree. If you're partying in Ibiza or Berlin, people either sleep most of the day before going to the club or they do a ton of drugs and barely sleep at all for a couple of days.

Oh crazy, I didn't know THAT late was a thing anywhere. Where are you from? I consider arriving at 11 and leaving at 4 late on both counts

im used to clubbing in NYC. But I have gone out in Nj, PA, CT, Maryland, DC, and a few international cities as well.

my main club in NYC, didnt open til 11, and it closed at 8... basically didnt get crowded til 1. There were longer lines to get in at 1 than there was at 11.

For taking money to Vegas, depends how much your taking but I just get it out before, use a comparison site, usually end up getting from post office or Thomas Cook. Also, dunno how old you are but make sure you're all carrying your ID around, massive ballache when you have to go back to your room to grab it

Bellagio does have USB ports on the tables in the main poker room, they DO NOT have them on those poker tables they set up by the sportsbook which sucks if you get put out there
