Where can NL games with smaller max buy in be found?

I know MGM has a 1/2 50min/200max and will probably be playing that game when I get to Vegas, but I'm wondering if there are any games around with an even lower max buy in.

Your help is appreciated.

If you know something to be incorrect, contact the mods there. Otherwise, assume it's correct.

Bill's Gamblin' Hall and Saloon has a .50/$1 NL game with a 20 min 200 max. That's the only cheaper NL game in town

There are no places to my knowledge with less than $200 max buy in. Most are 200 or 300 max with a few 500's and one no max mixed in there.

Drunk people having a good time. When I was there the play was pretty bad. Also they rake using 50cent chips from what I remember, so that adds up when there are small pots.

I don't think there's a low limit game in town where people are trying to build rolls/improve live play. It's just people gambling, badly.

actually I'm pretty sure min buy-in at the MGM is $40. I watched a kid try to ss 1/2 there buying in for $40 at a time. I also watched him lose approx 6 buy-ins lol

Yes it's $40. I've actually seen a couple of people there buy in for $40, play for a double-up or two, and then actually play very well once they get a deeper stack and run it close to four figures, although obviously the more common scenario is people buying in that low will lose it pretty quick. Just an thought, but it's possible the $40 minimum may not only bring in people who wouldn't want to buy in for more, but might cause people to feel more comfortable buying in for something like $100 where they might buy for, say, $150 at a $100 min-$200 max table.

As recently as a few years ago they were running $50 max games at Luxor and $100 max games at IP and a few other places. Kind of miss having the variety, although I almost never played there.
