It is a major event in the Las Vegas area, whether I go or not there’s no reason the thread should be locked. The thread has actually had some worthwhile discussion about the event. They’ve had these events elsewhere before, and now are bringing it to Vegas. Compared to all the “what hotel should I stay at” or what 1/2 game should I play” posts this is actually something interesting.

People keep giving me all these other destinations to go to to get cheaper hookers and party for less. I know all about those places, I’ve parties in many of them, including Vancouver since I grew up in Seattle. It’s not about cheap hookers, it’s not about being a baller, it’s about an event that is happening that I think is truly discussion worthy.

Came to the thread as it was under lasvegas lifestyle.Have no opinion for or against it. Seems like no matter what arguments are made against it Financial,Moral or availablelity at the different part of the world some of the posters are only interested in promoting this one like they have some financial incentive doing so. I knew someone would post the exact post you just posted. I’ve actually been in Vegas for the last two weeks straight betting the system myself. I’m not working for anyone else, I’m just betting the system myself and doing quite well. Also poker has been good to me so things are going well. While the sportsbetting thing took slightly longer to get started than I hoped it eventually (now) is happening but under different circumstances. I’m doing everything myself instead of relying on someone else to pay me a salary and tell me what to bet

This is ridiculous. A controversial event is coming to somewhere near Vegas and some people want this thread that contains useful information about the event shut down? But they won’t shut down all the other threads that actually deserve to be shut down. This is a forum about Las Vegas lifestyle, whether I go or don’t go, this is an event in or around Vegas that has to do with lifestyle. Just because some people don’t agree with banging hookers, or think I’d be paying too much to do so aren’t reasons to lock the thread.

I understand that people may not believe that I’m capable of making this sportsbetting/poker thing work long term, but let’s see how it goes before judging. And there’s no way that should be justification for locking or closing this thread.

I don't know how big Nevada is, but for the sake argument let us say Nevada is big enough that this party is taking place three hundred miles from Vegas. Does that make this thread appropriate for an area devoted to LV events.

And you know the people making the video are legit? Not to mention you know the dentist is legit?
