Do you also tip your waitress before you order?

The taxi driver before you go anywhere?

And, of course, you always tip the poker dealer before you've played a hand, right?

Well, I tip the maid before she cleans, the hotel receptionist before I check in, and a cocktail waitress before she brings the first drink.

How about opening a bank account with a bank where you live that has a branch in Vegas and go there as you need more cash?

Let's see, "The American Guardian," a new(?) private vault service. Deserves its own thread.

How are they different from "24/7 Private Vaults" (the former Las Vegas private safe-deposit service that was recently robbed, with no arrests and no recovery of anything that was stolen)?

Is their security system certified by the UL or other recognized accrediting agency? Bzzt. Can you have a copy of the accreditation certificate? Bzzt, bzzt.

Is there any assurance whatever that their security is any better than that of "24/7 Private Vaults"? Bzzt.

Do they even tell you the legal name of whatever person or corporation is DBA "The American Guardian"? Bzzt.

If I were you I would get a real bank safe deposit box, or make other arrangements.
