Is it okay to conceal the fact that I will play poker from a border officer? Is it okay to conceal the fact that I will play poker from a border officer?

To add, in case that isn't clear to everyone: All of this mostly applies to nationals from ESTA eligible countries. Anyone else can't travel to the US without a proper visa anyway.

If you're not a citizen of one of the WVP countries you already have to provide proof of funds during the visa process.

At least from the EU you can't even board a flight to the US without visa/ESTA. Maybe 15 years ago one guy from our Vegas WSOP crew found out about that the hard way.

I do not know it for a fact but I do not believe MuckPLS is a pro. I am sure from his TRs he does not grind the poker tables 40+ hrs per week

You can look up and read his TRs here. Or she can ask him.

If your country of origin qualifies, then" Global Entry" ftw

Best $100 I ever spent and it lasts 5 years..

Longer and cheaper than either hookers or blow.
