Far as I know that's accurate. An unlicensed person can buy a car and hire a chauffeur to drive it.

But it brings up the question: why would any normal person do this? You can't legally drive it, so why not wait to buy? Unless this is some collectable car where if you don't buy now you may lose the chance, I don't see the point.

If you had your license, complete the transaction of buying the car in the DMV parking lot, then you would not have to drive it illegally.

Can't you drive the car for x amount of time with no tags as long as you have the signed title? Obviously you have a much higher risk of getting pulled over and it's stupid to do this without a license, but if you do it legally you can drive it to the DMV or whatever.

Katana is exactly correct.. in other states like California the plates/tags stay with the vehicle... in Nevada, they stay with the person. I just sold a car last week.

NOT ONLY are you going to need to get a DL before they issue you new tags/plates... but you WILL also need to show proof of insurance that is unique to that new VIN number(brand new law under penalty of $250 fine).

that being said, there is NO REASON you can not buy the car... you just can not drive it legally.

weekend update...

MGM was beginning to pump again with the opening of Hakkasan.

no 5/10 running(yet), but drunk 2/5 was in full force... later in the evening of course.

Four bet to $475 with 86o on a 995 board against AA FTW!

Sounds like a Michael Phelps special. I've seen him at a bunch of off strip casinos and he plays big like that.
He just commandeers a private room and the word gets out to all the big players.

I saw him one time at Palms and it was a 10k min buy 25/50. The Palms is lucky if one 2/5 is going on Saturday night.

GV has been playing decently lately over the last few months... as has RR over the last year and a half.

thing about GV is that they are somewhat stuck up in their disposition. FU.

went out for a little birthday celebration - pal bartends at an upscale joint and was forcefed untold sums of alcohol. Decided to play some 1/2 no limit texas style holdem. I wanted to work on some stuff while hardly functional. Decided to play a combo of street style mixed in with some straight up prison style pokerz. Ended up winning just over 1k in 3 hours.

My question is do you guys think that a w/r of just over 333$/hr is reasonable and sustaionable? - btw the game was playing deep and I obv bought in for the max

yessir - street style includes insane squeezes followed by masssive bruffs for moast of my chips. So this was in fact "regla" pokerz

prison style = floating with any kind of back door equity and raising the turn when it misses
