i went to the show last night. def recomend seeing it if you want to go to a show while your out here.

it has some light comedy in it and its mildly funny. the acrobatics are VERY awesome and the music is very good as well.

if anyone plans on going to a different CDS show lets get some discussion going on here. tickets are like 69$ so if theres interest lets do it

Mystere was phenomenal. I liked it much much more than Ka.

I've seen mystere twice and must say it's a great show. Also seen O, Zumanity (twice) and Corteo (the road tour). All of them are spectacular in their own special ways b/c each show is so different. I think I liked zu and o better than mystere though. By all means mystere is still mind boggling.

Gonna see Ka on the 4th @ the 7:30 showing when I get in to town.

I thought Ka was just miles better than Mystere. I found Mystere kind of boring and disjointed...the baby was just kinda boring and the stunts were kind of run of the mill I thought. Ka has a nice plot and pretty mindblowing stunts and effects IMO.

Wow I'm surprised to see this sentiment. Ka was definitely more of a production.. the stage and set were simply amazing.

But I don't think you can compare the stunts from Ka to those from Mystere. I can understand the preference to Ka's plot and stage.. but the stunts in Mystere was considerably better and more numerous.

Everytime those guys "came out" during Mystere, you just didn't feel like watching. Will prob catch O or Ka next time.

I've seen O, Ka, & Mystere.

I don't really see how anyone who'se seen Ka can not have been blown away. Saw it with the girlfriend and she loved it (cuz it has a love story intertwined in it).

Mystere is fine family-oriented Cirque. O is slightly more impressive b/c of the aqua set, and a cirque noob will be suitably impressed and tell his friends back home how good a show it was. But Ka is simply in a league of its own >> amazing set, amazing music, love/war storylines, and as with any cirque show: great acrobatics. It's one of those shows that you leave the theater impressed but it seems more and more impressive the longer you have to think back on it. If you go, I cannot recommend highly enough splurging on seats close to the stage...ran us about $140 / each i think, but well worth it.

I have seen Mystere, O, and Love. Mystere was hands down the best due to its great acrobatics. O was a bit boring after seeing Mystere and Love flat out sucked. i am not a huge beatles fan so definately didnt help things but it was most just, what i would call, interpretive dance to all of the songs. hoping to check out KA in a few weeks so hopefully that one will not disappoint.

on a side note, other shows i have seen: Lance Burton blows and Stomp out loud is awesome.

I've seen Mystere, Love, and Le Reve (CDS ripoff with water)

Mystere was the best by far. I think we paid $40 a ticket at one of those half off places near the Coke bottle. Seats were awesome (I don't think there's a bad seat in the place, amazing theater) and I ended up being a part of the show. La Reve seemed like a poor man's Mystere with water, even though it's more expensive. I didn't really enjoy Love at all despite loving the Beatles. There weren't many innovative/amazing/jaw-dropping parts, it was more of just dancing crap.

I didn't see Ka because I read so many reviews of people just falling asleep. I saw a preview on one of those Vegas channels in a hotel... the stage and costumes were awesome, but that is just a novelty-type amusement that will wear off. The show looked pretty damn boring.

Mystere and The Amazing Jonathan are the two best bang for the buck shows in Vegas imo. Blue Man Group was amazing, but that's over twice the cost of Mystere/Amazing Jonathan.

My girlfriend I have seen Mystere last year and Ka a few days ago.
Ka seems to focus more on telling a story while Mystere is more colorful and has more of a circus show feeling to it. In my opinion both are amazing and well worth the ticket price. We liked Mystere better but it's close. We will go see Zumanity tomorrow.

I second the opinion that Lance Burton sucked -- had high hopes b/c of all the press about it, but the Monte Carlo sucks in general, his theater sucked, and he came off as not much more than a magician for a 5-year old's bday party.
VERY disappointed.

p.s. go see Ka, I mean it. IMHO it beats Mystere on every level and doesn't have the cheesy circus feel.

Saw Mystre last night, and it was amazing....well worth the money. If anyone plans on going to this, Ka, or Zumanity i would check the 35% off thread. I bought 2 tickets the night before the show, and got great seats, 7 rows just right of center stage.

Here's the link to the other thread http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/sh...d.php?t=211169
