Hello LVLers,

It has been mentioned across multiple threads that several 2+2ers are heading to Las Vegas for Memorial Day Weekend and the week following.

I am heading to Mandalay Bay Mon-Wed with a possible Thursday night @ Aria for some much needed relaxation, beach/pool time, low limit BJ/Craps/Roulette, World Cup/NBA Finals Bets & of course 1/2-1/3-2/5 NL. PMs are welcome for individual meet & plays.

With several folks setting up shop mid-strip, I thought one of the Monday evening $50 Flamingo tourneys would be a fun meet & greet, or perhaps Planet Hollywood's Tuesday night Micromania tournament. Or both! Any other suggestions are happily welcome including low limit ($25 & under, lets be welcome to all friends' bankrolls) games in the pits or non gambling ideas that will turn into gambling.

Feel free to also use this thread to let the community know when you'll be getting into town, where you're staying, preamble your TR for that time period etc. etc.

I look forward to meeting any and all of you and will probably do an after the fact TR with pics so those who can't make it aren't left out. Thanks everyone.

Arriving Friday morning and staying through Tuesday @ Aria. Will be solo this trip and plan to spend most of my time in 1/3 or 2/5 at various rooms. Would love to try out the $50 Flamingo on Monday night as I've never participated in that one before.

I'd be down for a beer before Monday night too if anyone's around. Will most likely revive my old TR (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/10...ve-tr-1419634/) but haven't decided if I'm going to try live again or do a post-mortem. The post-mortem is appealing in that it'll be easier to accomplish, but it also means I'll be back home and depressed I'm not still in Vegas...may not have it in me to do it after the fact. Still deciding.

fyi, noticed car rental rates went down, at least the ones starting on sunday

Driving into town on Saturday, should arrive mid afternoon. My wife and I will be at the Cosmo for two nights, then at the Flamingo for four nights. Driving back home on Friday. The trip is mostly vacation; I don't expect much actual poker this time around but who knows. A small tournament/meetup is certainly possible The only solid schedule so far is Sunday night -- dinner & Zarkana.

Honestly more excited for sports bets this trip (and BJ after reading through the post and links in the amazing BJ runs thread - but expectations for self = none) than all other plays

Until Brooks can figure out a lineup for Ibaka being out, I like the spurs to cover most lines.

I'm down to meet any peeps in town and spalsh around in a donkament. There's also a $65 PLO @ PHo Mondays at 9 that I just found out about.

The $65 PLO tourney sounds like a blast, especially considering I haven't played PLO in years.

Perhaps we set some sort of like 8-8:15 meeting place and then the group can decide on where to play in the moment and we can mob it like some douchey March Madness group but WAY more fun and way better at the gambool (allegedly )

And the plot thickens. I've never played PLO live. Could be a fun intro.

Tough to commit to anything as our Vegas trips are fairly dynamic but as we'll be staying at Flamingo on Monday night, I would imagine a meetup at the flamingo poker room could be a strong possibility. I suck at donkaments but my arm could probably be twisted into playing one. When does the Monday night Flamingo tourney start? 8pm?

Flamingo daily is 9pm - $50 for 5,000 chips levels go up ever 15 mins.

FWIW I'm a wanker and I cashed all three times I played it in Jan for LOLs with the gf. Placed 2,3,1 respectively so it's obv super weak.

I can barely play poker with 2 cards. What am I supposed to do with 4 cards, especially when I'm forced to play 2 of them and can't beat the board?

Right now I'm tentatively suggesting an 8:30pm meet up in the Flamingo's video poker area adjacent to the Flamingo poker room. It's still up in the air if we'll play Hold 'Em, PLO or if DollarStoreBaller and TO will convince the group to play Ultimate Texas Hold 'Em.

Liking the numbers, though. Looks like there will be upwards of a full table of 2+2ers from out of town along with Katana and maybe another a kind soul or two.

This is shaping up to be very +ev in the fun and laughs department. Getting very excited to meet everyone and put screen names to faces (not gonna lie, especially Katana.)

As established in my TR, the BEST opportunity to lose your virginity playing PLO live is the Plaza Monday 10PM $12 donkament. Only 3 tables, though, but electronic/touch-screen!

PS, you know what everyone in this thread has in common? You're all jerks about to go to Vegas.
