Recent developments: the minor league team rebranded to Las Vegas Aviators and everyone at the MLB winter meetings ridicules their logo. Also the proposed new ballpark project in Tampa fell through and the Rays are back on the relocation hot seat. Without that situation being resolved, there won’t be expansion. Rob Manfred made that clear.
