Will probably cook most nights if that helps.

Within a 40 minute walk to the strip, that should say.

$400 a week or month. $200 a week is realistic at one of the budget suites or siegal suites and they are very close to the strip. Private rooms are in the $500 - $600 area and would involve a bus ride.

Thanks for the reply.
$400 a month would be ideal, although if that's unrealistic I could stretch to more. I have no problem with taking the bus, provided it runs until late. Would ideally like a room in a shared house/apartment and don't really care too much about the quality of the accommodation.

Dude(s), the names of the places were right in the post you quoted, Budget Suites and Siegel Suites.
These are both places that are kind of halfway between hotels and furnished apartments, with weekly and monthly rates. Most locations have terrible reviews online and are in sketchy areas though.

What's so bad about these places? Just in a bad part of town? I don't wanna get robbed or hurt. But I can deal with a "crappy" room.

West tropicana is good, s las vegas blvd is good, segiel selects are good. Boulder Highway is ok, Avoid downtown. That said if you mind your business at are reasonably careful you should be fine.

Extended Stay is good too just try and get a good discount code. There are a ton of these places if you scout around the strip you can find them.

Re: LVL Official Looking for Room/Roommate Thread (Read OP Before Posting)
Hi all, I am seeking a room for 6+ months in Las Vegas, starting in mid-January 2017.
Willing to spend about ~$500/mo plus utilities for a nice room, and would love to live with like-minded individuals. I do NOT want to end up at a place like Siegel Suites, so hoping to find something different here.
I'm a 31yo American male, single, no kids, no pets, don't smoke, very quiet, and very easy-going. Have grinded live SSNL for the better part of the last 10 years. Originally I am from the east coast (philly area), before spending 2 years in SoCal, and now I've been in the Vegas area for nearly a year already. I have been grinding 1/3 and 2/5 NL here locally, and also dealt the 2016 WSOP at the Rio, loved it, and plan on doing it again in the summer of 2017.
Please hit me up if you have a spare room or know someone who does!

Have a room opening in a 2bd 2ba by top golf, close to strip. You would have your own room and bath. Share balcony. U must be able to teach me something of value during your stay. 420 friendly

Re: LVL Official Looking for Room/Roommate Thread (Read OP Before Posting)
Hi all, I'll be in Las Vegas for around 2-3 months starting in early/mid January (dates flexible). I'm on the job market, and while I'm applying, it's a great opportunity to come to Vegas and play poker.
I'm 38, male, pretty quiet and low key, easy going, gregarious, not big into the club/party scene. I'm coming from NYC, where I usually play 1/3 or 2/5, but it's such an expensive city that LV will be a welcome respite.
I'm looking for a nicer, clean, private, quiet spot. I have a decent amount of savings and am okay with spending up to 1K/month. If you have a spot that might fit the bill, DM me - thanks!

Re: LVL Official Looking for Room/Roommate Thread (Read OP Before Posting)
Hi guys,
I arrived two weeks ago in Vegas, I am a 30 years old guy from Montréal, Canada. I am open minded and respectful. Looking for a furnished room not far from the strip because I want to play live cash games on the strip. Other than poker, I like sports like soccer, martial arts and snowboard, other strategy games like chess or society games, traveling, microbrewery beers, meeting new people, learning new stuff...if you want to reach me by phone : 702-972-5877
Thanks,
Marc

Re: LVL Official Looking for Room/Roommate Thread (Read OP Before Posting)
Currently renting a 3-bed house 20 min from strip, would like to find a roommate. Quiet neighborhood, backyard, W/D, central air, private parking, full kitchen, 2 full baths. Rent $460 with flexible sublease terms. New unused standard size mattress set available for $100 if needed.
Not looking for a party scene, and non-smoker preferred. If 420 is your thing, no offense, don't bother. Been there, done that, sober for 5 years and don't want drugs in the house. Other than that I'm pretty laid back.
Basically a cheap option if you have a car and are trying to grind on a budget. I'm also looking to move into the valley closer to the strip sometime in the next year, hopefully before WSOP 2017, so if anyone like-minded has a spot or is interested in going in on a rental I'd be down to discuss.
Serious interest PM or email desertdesign8@gmail.com
Thx

You can legally only stay for 2 weeks at a time on a single reservation. You can make another reservation after, but I am not sure if you have to stay somewhere else for a night in between.

Re: LVL Official Looking for Room/Roommate Thread (Read OP Before Posting)
Hi there,
I am a 24-year old poker player from the Netherlands. I am planning to visit Vegas for around 6 weeks starting mid october. I am very easy going, energetic and fun to hang out with(sounds like i am writing a profile on a dating website). I am looking for someone to travel together in Vegas and share the costs of a hotel room/condo/appartment. Would be an added bonus to discuss some poker together to increase both our games. I am also down to go clubbing now and then, but this has absolutily no priority, although I am not going primarily to earn money. I would love to get some amazing experience out of this trip. For reference to my poker skill level, you can look me up at the result sites. I am using this screen name as well on Pokerstars, where i recently switched from Spin en Go games to MTT's, but i am experienced in all formats of no limit hold'em.
In addition to this post I would like to mention that I would also like to hear some offers for rooms where I can sleep on my own(including great hotel offers). Location on walking distance to the strip is a must. Budget for a normal room around 300$ a week. Budget for a hotel room would be around 400$ a week.
For all the guys that made it to the end of this post, well done.
I really hope this brings me some great offers!

Hi All,
I am looking for a room in a "poker house" to stay in for all of June 2017 during the WSOP.
Is this the right forum for this?
Thanks!

Looking to move to vegas anytime from Late March to Pre WSOP for at minimum 3 months, likely longer. I am 22, am not a party-goer, don't consume alcohol or smoke. I am also a rather quiet individual. Please contact me at mario91234@gmail.com or private message me with information. All will be replied to.
Thanks
Mario

Hi there, looking to rent a studio at Palms right next to the Rio between 23.6.-14.7., the rate is 120USD/n as of now, would like to split costs. I am 32, not partying, not smoking tobacco and herbs, calm and quiet. Will be mostly out grinding anyway, just sleeping and maybe some cooking in between. LMK if interested, would like to book soon.

Re: LVL Official Looking for Room/Roommate Thread (Read OP Before Posting)
I'm arriving vegas June 3rd, staying till June 10th. Seeing if anyone wants to split a room on the strip or Rio. I won't be in the room much. Anyone want to use comps and will pay u for a bed? Or if someone wants to combine our total rewards card, we can get a good deal and split. Just message me. I'm 46, not much of a partier (don't care if u are) non-smoker. Thanks.
