I'm going to be at the Venetian this weekend and want to watch football. Is sports book seating free or paid? If free, do I have to reserve anything or is it first come first serve?

...

Alternatively: anyone have recommendations for places in or around the Venetian where I can ask a bartender to put a particular game on TV? I'm trying to watch the Pats/Saints game because I make bad choices in fandom.

Apart from Wynn which is usually a hit or miss Bellagio was the only $500 buyin game. Raising the cap at 1/3 will definitely attract more regs.

MGM games are uncapped. The very few times I've played, nobody bought in deep though.

I've never had an issue with getting either to deliver right to my hotel room door, at least at major Strip casinos

How did they get to your room? I was just at Mandalay Bay two weeks ago, and even a guest key would only take you to the exact floor you are staying on, and nowhere else (met people at least twice who were trying to go see friends on another floor and had no way of getting there).

Aside from the penthouse floors at Cosmo, you don't need a key for the elevator. Then again the forum tower at Caesars in AC requires a key for the 2nd floor. It really depends on the hotel.

Hey all

Sorry if this has already been discussed but can’t find an up to date answer on this

Is there a list of casinos that currently let you take your winnings without the 30 % tax being withheld?

Or do no casinos do this whatsoever and you have to go through the whole TITN and reclaim at end of tax year in June?

I play cash and imagine if things go well I will cash out a few hundred bucks each day but I can’t overly see the point in a trip to Vegas if you lose 30 percent (at least for several months) and you also have to cover living costs. Even with a roll of £10k, in the short term I can’t see how any profit can be made assuming I spend £2k a month on food and accommodation

Is there something I’m missing? Not been to vegas before so asking as a newbie but regular cash player

Thanks for any advice

Yeah they don't take tax from poker players cash game winnings. Only slots.

Maybe if you hit a bad beat jackpot/scoop a tourney for over $5k then they might take tax - but if you have your passport most casinos will sort the ITIN out for you and not withhold, just tip nicely. (The Nugget is one that specifically does NOT do this but they dont have a BBJ so no worries there, just if you play slots)
