I am looking for any advice/past experiences and overall what I can expect the weekend of the Mayweather fight on the strip. I've been to LV several times but never for a big fight. Will the poker rooms be slammed 24/7 all weekend? I imagine the MGM will be a crazy busy as well. If anyone has been out there for big time fight like Tyson back in the day or whatever Id love to hear about it. Thanks

Hopefully it won't be at Southpoint again. It was at Aria in 2010, I thought it was the best location I've been to (places I've been for the party are Wynn, Southpoint and Aria).

It's fine. I wouldn't worry about it being busy, it's a convention for poker players not models.

Well if it isn't you can always go next door or across the street.
(I was liking late night 1/2 at Harrah's last October, I played some 3/6 LH at Mirage. Not much else was going, but that could have been the time of day.)

Do any Las Vegas casinos put the Bad Beat Jackpot dollar into the same box as the rake? I saw it for the first ever in a local casino for pots > $20 and was wondering if any other casino does it. The casino refused to disclose what percentage of the rake they allocate to the BBJ.
