Sorry guys, Cosmo $100 loss rebate is over unless you're gold or higher (which makes no sense)

They match your card level from other properties on your first visit.

And yes. It's just as easy as it sounds. Drop off your bags with the guy in front of the hotel, pick them up or call for them from your room when ready. Tip.

Awesome, just booked the Mirage suite and my flight. Got a suite for TWTh March 11-13, completely gratis, including resort fees.

Now I just need to figure out transportation, etc.

Wow, I just used it last month. I can see why they took it away. My wife and I lost $200 real quick then ran the free plays up to $400 and left.

Man I'm like a fountain of dumb questions.

I don't go by my first name. Don't like it. Don't want it on a Bravo board, don't want dealers using it. Can I get my name changed on my TR account and other comp accounts to reflect how I want to be addressed?

For waitlists/bravo you just tell them your name you dont use your card.

At the V, you can change the first name that displays to the dealer when he clocks you in, but ns about CET properties.

looking to go back to Vegas for first 2 weeks of June, looking for info on level of play for room comp but cant find much. Assume 2 of us playing for an average of 4 hours a day each at $25 blackjack and $25 craps (excluding pass line odds). How far would this get in comping the entire stay at somewhere mid range like Flamingo? Obv dont expect much at somewhere like Wynn or other upper end places. Is there any of the smaller places that would more than likely comp it all?

you can get any name you want, within reason, on your MGM card. my card reads ATM.

I had completely forgotten that I have a Total Rewards card that I got at Harrah's Council Bluffs when I went there for a week (the same time I got the MLife card at the Ameristar which is giving me the three nights at the Mirage). I went to their site and signed in, and was pleasantly surprised that I could get a free room at quite a few places the night I am arriving (the 10th at 11:30) so I booked a suite at The Flamingo since it looks like it is pretty close to the Mirage. Before I had planned to just leave my bags with the bellhop and try to stay up until check in, but this way I know I have a good place for my bags and a place to sleep for a couple hours.

I was quite surprised that I had any offers since I barely played any casino games at Harrah's, just poker. I did all my degening that trip at Ameristar.

Going to the Monster Jam World Finals my first night in Vegas, end of March. Couple questions.

Has anyone been to it before? Or the Sam Boyd stadium?

What's the area around the stadium (whitney) like at night? Is it gonna be dodgy finding a cab back to the strip if there aren't enough at the stadium?

You can change your name on your MLife card, too. I sat next to El Guapo tonight at Bellagio.

I haven't been to Monster Jam before but have been to Sam Boyd stadium many times. The area around it is fine - it's at the edge of a non-ghetto residential area w/all desert on the other side. They would figure to have a cab line there (pretty sure I've seen them before) so just confirm where it's at when you get there or on your way out.

No.

EDIT: I should be more informative. A lot of rooms (maybe even most) do have Wifi. PHo and Venetian do for sure. I'm 90% sure MGM does. I don't really play anywhere else regularly, but I know a lot of rooms don't. For those rooms that do have Wifi, it often stops working for no reason, and I don't know why. I'd estimate that PHo's Wifi works for me about 50% of the time.

Also, most of them aren't open/unsecured. You'll probably have to ask the dealer for the SSID and password.

How's the signal for someone using a mobile hotpot device from a national cellular brand?

depends on your carrier. If youre using sprint or any of the brands on their network (cricket, tmobile) its slightly less effective than two cans with a string.

Lol @ mayo. I am discovering that there are certain basic things that are huge leaks in LV's game.

I don't go on the internet often but have been known to watch a movie or some tv on my kindle when things have been running cold.

Kind of surprised, I figured it would be better to check out the Neon Boneyard at night, but reading through the TripAdvisor reviews seems to indicate it's better to go during the day for best overall visibility.

Nice to see there is a combo Neon/Mob ticket that lets you into both for $30, will be taking advantage of that.

Lots of desert, a few gas stations, motels & convenience stores. Eat at Longhorn Casino, Boulder & Harmon, 24 hours.

A queue of fares at the stadium will result in the arrival of some empty cabs. This is accomplished through Two-Way Radio.

Best guess you'll have no problem. But write down or store the number of a cab company just in case.
