As far as dating goes in LV are there any women that aren't waitresses or strippers?
1. Nuclear weapons testing (above and below ground) has affected the environment nationwide and possibly worldwide. Hundreds of underground nuclear explosions at the former Nevada Test Site occurred near natural aquifers. Depending on whom you believe (the feds or the environmentalists), this will or will not adversely affect public water supplies, the most significant alleged risk being to well water in Nye County/Pahrump. (Per international treaties, the U.S. Govenment no longer conducts aboveground or underground nuclear weapons testing.)
Probably the water supply in Las Vegas itself won't be affected for decades (if at all) because most Las Vegas tap water comes from the Colorado River basin.
Alleged radiation issues aside, the conventional wisdom is that Las Vegas tap water doesn't taste all that great, and most homes, hotels, and restaurants have a water filtration system. YMMV. The cocktail waitress will be happy to bring you a bottle of water. Tip her a buck. Drink up, you're in a desert.
2. Lake Mead's water level increased significantly this year and is expected to also increase significantly in the coming years due to increased rainfall in the Rockies.
3. It's anybody's guess. If you are looking for women who aren't waitresses or strippers, look outside casinos (although bachelorette parties aren't hard to find).
