by not employing union workers, Glazier's is helping the homeless population sustain themselves (unions often pay the homeless less than minimum wage to join picket lines).

More importantly, it's measured by the % of members from some dating site (i forget which) who list their "interested in" as "casual sex."

I wonder if "formal sex" was an option.

Is the Imperial Palace a decent place to stay? I have 5 free nights either there or the Rio...The I.P. is on the stip obviously so that would make life easier, but curious as to what experience others had at either property....Ty

But I appreciate the feedback from everyone.

Sound like I will just bring a cooler and beer day 1.
Anyone know about the ice machine question?

I just don't want to be screwed like the last time I stayed in LA and the only way to get ice was via room service one small bucket at a time........Nothing like waiting 30 minutes to make a jack and coke.
Just tell them you require a fridge for medical purposes. They don't and can't ask why you need it. Done this the last three times in Vegas and got a free fridge very time.

Hi guys. I will be heading to Vegas in October and currently checking flights and hotels now.

A question i have is are there any casino hotels where they offer free wifi internet instead of having to pay $12.50 a day for it? I did a bit of research and checked that the Red Rock Hotel Casinos offers free wifi at their hotels. Can someone confirm this? I was going to stay at Imperial Palace because its pretty cheap but when i read Red Rock offers free wifi at the hotels, i felt like that would be a better deal.

you're going to pay for it one way or another.

caesar's properties will charge you directly, aria hides it in their resort fees. places like red rock are off the strip which might add to your transportation costs. just do the math and know your options when it comes to rates and extra charges.

Hard Rock has wifi included and I downloaded with 1mb per second in the Paradise tower. When I moved to another tower it was not so fast, but still reliable.

Thank you Garick. Very useful info. Based on the time I figure on being in the room, I think I.P. may do.

Would you all recommend the Rio for $97 or Bally's for $157 (South Tower) for 3 nights if I plan to spend a lot of time in the Harrah's Strip properties and Cosmo?

How will you get from Rio to the strip? If you are planning to take taxis, the real cost of Rio is room + taxi and then compare that to the cost for Bally's.

If you are going to take the free shuttle, how much is the time you are going to spend waiting for it and then riding it worth to you.

If you are going to spend a lot of time on the strip, I think you should stay on the strip.

Hey all. I'm checking online and it seems imperial palace seems very cheap to stay at for a hotel. Would anyone here recommend it? I plan on staying about 10 days and the price is pretty good. Some days its $20+tax but of course friday/saturday are 100+ each.

Red Rock is 12 miles off the strip and charges $27 a night resort fee, which includes internet. Still sound like it's worth it?

And there isn't a hotel/casino in Vegas that truly gives free WiFi in the rooms.

Imperial Palace is going to be like Motel 6. You're not going to impress chicks by taking them back to your room, but it's a very cheap hotel right in the middle of the action on the Las Vegas Strip.

Hey guys, i guess i will not choose IP then. I'm not going with a girl there so i wouldn't have that problem.

By the way, do you guys know what is a good cheap place to stay at on the strip for friday/saturday? I'm checking online and right now i'm most likely going to stay at harrahs or bills gambling hall but the weekends of saturday/sunday are really expensive. Anyone know of a place bit cheaper i could rent for the weekend?

Bill's and Harrahs are the cheapest. Which weekend is it?

Call them up, maybe there rates differ (was the case for me at PH Towers). Shop for deals, promotion codes and what not.

But I doubt that a weekend night at those properties in Vegas could be too expensive. They cost less than a solid meal.
