I've tried searching several different ways but can't seem to come up with anything (maybe I'm an idiot), but what's the general consensus on the performance driving school where you can drive the lambos and Ferraris? It looks like not a bad deal at $299 for the supercars, especially if you use the costco vegas.com giftcards, but we don't want to do it if you don't really get to let loose with the cars. Anyone have feedback?

Nope, cash or chips only.

Also is it worth 400 dollars more for 4 nights at the Rio and not having to travel?
Not really, there are shuttles to the Rio from the Strip, and taxis don't cost that much either. I haven't stayed at the Rio myself, but others have told me the rooms are nothing spectacular. The only way I could see it is if you literally don't plan on leaving the hotel for your entire trip.

Rooms seemed fairly spacious to me there, and very decent prices if you have CET, when are you going wesrwood? I miss flying out of Bradley cheaply

Football games last 3+ hours, of which I can drink 10 drinks. $1 tip per drink + $5 vig + $10 tip = $1.50 per drink. If you're with your mates and want to BS, not a bad value in Vegas imo.
Love it.

And none of them are drinking their drinks. There's some blue thing, a red wine, an apple martini and a white zin (lol) but they're all full. Something tells me that this photo just MIGHT have been staged...I-Team investigate!

Hey folks - anyone know of bars that serve cider in LV? Or maybe casual dining places (I seem to remember getting a cider in BLT in the Mirage last summer)? I'd love the opportunity to get some nice, home-style, strong apple cider if possible (so not Bulmers / Magners / Strongbow really); if not, grey goose and sprite will have to do

What hotel would you guys recommend for 5-6 people. Our budget is approximately 550$ each.
Time: 12/29/11 to 1/6/12

I am currently looking at the PH Westgate suites and get $3070 for the time frame, which is good if we are 6 and slightly above if we are 5. Do you think there is any room beating that?

Not what you are looking for but the buffet at M Resort includes alcohol and they have a really nice cider on tap.

What's the general consensus about Bally's for hotel purposes?

Going to LV in late June. I have a Total Rewards card, but since I no longer live near a Harrah's property, no real recent points, so I don't get much of a discount like I used to.

For 4 nights starting on a Wednesday, I'm quoted Comp-Comp-$70-$160 for the cheapest room at Bally's. Better than Harrah's or Rio; considerably less than the other Ceasar's properties (even Flamingo). I didn't consider IP.

Although old, is Bally's generally clean, safe, etc.? Location is good. Is it important to try to get an upgrade to the other tower?

Thanks in advance for any useful advice.

my ballys deal breaker is that they have small tube tvs that aren't hd and don't even carry espn2 in sd. rooms are fine, but from what i gather from pics people have posted here, i've never been in a regular room there.

It's fine but more for locals. You'll have more 'options' on the strip.

Where is a good and cheap place to have breakfast and/or lunch at the Strip?

Is it also possible to get food for free on the poker table while playing cash games at a casino?
