I'm not usually a spelling Nazi, or one to point out when someone gets a term or saying wrong, but I couldn't help but find it humorous that someone on a poker forum apparently either doesn't know how to spell ante, or far more likely, isn't aware that the etymology of penny-ante stems from poker. As in, of course, playing a poker game with an ante of one penny.
And on a matter more related to the subject at hand (Uber), I wanted to mention to those who may not be aware, that as of today, certain American Express cards (Platinum & Centurion) now include an added benefit of $15/month in Uber credits for U.S. rides every month, with an additional $20 in December, for a total of $200 in free Uber rides each year. You just need to have your card tied in to the Uber app for payment. As one would expect, AmEx is going to be raising the annual fee for these cards later this year (by $100, I believe), but at least for the time being, it is a "free" added benefit to current cardholders.
