I wonder what he's doing that's offputting to some people. Maybe he should look up some videos on how to smize Tyra-Banks style. Neeme smizes.

Probably only the top 20-25% of low stakes players are winning players due to rake. The issue is not whether Trooper is a winning low stakes player; the issue is whether that is a goal worth achieving. Playing low stakes for a living is a terrible life goal. Either have a concrete plan to move up to mid or high stakes and execute it, or just play poker as a weekend hobby that generates a little supplemental income. Even the best 1/2 and 1/3 players are probably making 20-30K per year which is enough to get by, but not much else and that is your best case scenario.

So we have to differentiate them by “asian Eric”, “black Eric”, “fat Eric” “old Eric”(fat and old are white).

There are times we have to used code names because we don’t know their names. “Santa”, “Arizona State”, “Einstein”, “Mayweather”, “the hat”, “big head”. It doesn’t mean we’re anti any of these people/things. We used them as a point of reference.
thought of this thread/post/topic during my session Saturday Night. 'bad' reg says to me, have you seen Dave around lately? to which I responded with Asian Dave? He looked perplexed so I said, "banker Dave".. wasn't hitting home with this guy, so I raffled off.. "bad jokes Dave? Slow-Up-A-Game Dave? Germaphobe Dave?"

Dealer replies with.. "he has a ton of names doesn't he?"

anyone of these descriptions should have worked but the one that really stuck was the pointing of my finger as 'Dave' walked by to which I said.. "that Dave?"

bad reg noded and said yeah that guy.

nope haven't seen him

and for the record, I have nothing against bankers or bad joke tellers.

25% are winning? It's more like 5 to 10.

That probably better than 20% of Americans. It may be a terrible life goal, but its what some people fall into because they have no other good options. I'm not convinced that Trooper is capable of better than his current condition.

Trooper seems to be a small winner at around $3-$8 an hour is my guess. So when I think of a breakeven player I’m thinking of someone that is actually worse than he is.

If Troop is making $8 an hour playing poker that wouldn’t be terrible, considering hats and the Westgate game are the real ways he makes money.

He doesn’t play 40 hours a week, but if he did $8 an hour is $16000 a year. That plus the $500 a week or so he makes at Westgate, plus the hat sales at least puts him above the poverty line

$8 an hour for the 30(?) hours a week he plays plus $100 a week in hat profits puts him below the poverty level.

$500 a week from Westgate is the majority of his income. He makes more than $100 a week in hat profits. Add all that plus $8/hr from poker and he’s making $52000 or so a year

Sure he is.

If Troop is making $500 a week then Neeme/Brad are pulling down $3,000.

I can't wait for the vlog he fills out his tax return.

Boski said on his vlog that he heard Troop was making $25 a player. So two tables at $25 a player is $500

Yea I mean making $26000 a year to “work” however long the game goes once a week isn’t a bad gig at all. Add the hats and his meager poker profits and he’s rolling in money. And I’m saying all this as someone who really dislikes Troop. But with his Westgate gig it seems he has it pretty good, even when dealing with a downswing

If he loses the Westgate gig however, he’s ****ed. The way he’s currently going with poker, even with his hat profits he’d be struggling to survive

i believe it's been going on since mch 1, and i don't think he has been there once.

Boksi's latest vlog with the beat-down in the street was pretty intense. Made funny with the movie clips added in.

I fully expect this to be Boski's most viewed Vlog. At first I thought it was just some drunk getting beat up, but who knows exactly what was going on there. Several possibilities, none of them good. Anyway, it was the correct play to back up.
