I've watched a total of about 5 minutes of Trooper's 360 vlogs, so I agree they are very boring for the viewer.

But I'm not sure that's the right measure of their success. It's probably more important that they serve as promotion for his Westgate game. They remind viewers of the game, and maybe a few people decide to attend the game in the hopes of appearing on the 360 vlog. One extra Thursday game attendee is probably worth several thousand extra video views to Trooper.

Good point except attendance at his Westgate game is dropping weekly. He filled 5 tables in the beginning but is now down 1-2 tables. And they are the same group each week.

I honestly don't care much for the 360 Poker Vlogs, and don't watch them either. I do understand that he's using them as a way to produce content and fill out his channel, but I think if he took the time to take all the footage from the night and make some kind of highlight reel, it would probably attract more viewers. Including myself.

He'll never figure it out because he just thinks people don't know how to work the 360 screen, rather than realizing that people DON'T WANT to work the 360 screen after a couple of minutes.

Although it fell way short of the game-changer he said it would be, he won't scrap it cause it's a gimmick for his Trooper Thursdays.

I realized last night, the thing I like most about Neeme's vlogs these days is that in general he's just a positive, happy dude and I really feel the same way after watching his stuff. Even setting aside his great production value, its just a generally great attitude that he beings to the table - even when he's dropping $6k in a PLO sesh. Nothing seems to make him angry and more importantly he's going out of his way to bring new stuff to the table. His 2018 poker goals from the latest vlog was great, makes you realize he's putting a lot of thought into the content.

I started listening to his podcast and its more of the same. Just seems like a generally positive guy and not only do I root for him but I will definitely be interested in any other products he's putting out.

You'll never see him screaming at anyone on the street or getting all steamed up at someone or causing a scene of any kind. At least I haven't seen that yet.

Troop - and Boski now - are the opposite. Constantly running people down. Ignorant commentary. I used to like Boski's stuff - and really liked some of his cooking stuff - but I'm just not interested anymore. Call it a heel turn or whatever you want. But the world's got too much negative energy in it these days, I dont need it in my poker vlogs.

And I get that every vlog isnt for everyone, different strokes and all that. No argument. But the subscriber counts have taken a pretty stark turn in the last few months. At this rate Neeme might break 100k subs this year, currently @ 80k. Troop is still around 30k. Boski under 10k.

Trooper could carve out a nice niche in the "reactions" sector of YouTube. People with polarizing personalities who are very opinionated seem to succeed at these "______ reaction to (insert pop culture event/other YouTube video here)" videos. On days he doesn't feel like pokering, he could produce these floatover type vlogs right in the apartment. They'll probably take 1/8th of the time to edit because it's a raw reaction and he'll get the spillage from people finding his channel because they're searching for said topic. I think it would make for great content that fans and haters alike would continue to watch because both sides can't get enough of the guy.

After all, it's not a poker vlog right?

Wow that often? I just figured it was something he put out once a week that viewers can skip over easily.

Too much of an emphasis on quantity over quality and it gets worse over time.

Edit: Or maybe he has been sick recently and that explains it? I don’t know.

I've never seen Trooper wearing a gold cape and handing out 100 bills in homeless shelters but I did see him give a homeless Vietnam veteran a 10 dollar bill in front of the Cromwell, across the street from Bally's. It is one of at least a dozen times that I've seen Trooper behave like a good Samaritan to total strangers on the Las Vegas Strip and Downtown.

On the other hand, I saw another "highly respected" vlogger, who I will refer to as Vlogger XXX, rudely cut off a 90 year old woman who was about to step into an escalator to the bridge that connects Bally's and the Bellagio. The poor little woman almost fell forward.

Is Trooper going to dust off the "Heat" dvd for some Super Bowl Sunday entertainment? Since there won't be anything any good to watch on TV.

If that is true, I see its a 9:30am game so still plenty of time for "Heat".

1 out of every 7? 4 out of his 5 Vlogs have been 360 vids, and I think today's has more downvotes then up. Looks like everybody is getting sick of them.

How many people think Registered 2018 is Trooper? I mean, he has said some not so nice things about Trooper but they weren't really that bad. It was more along the lines of somebody who is trying to throw off suspicion that they are said person.

Exactly. Trooper really struggles to compliment others. Almost to the point it causes him physical pain.

Plus many of the words used by Registered 2018 are too advanced for Trooper.

Plus plus Trooper simply doesn’t have the work ethic to create an account and post so often.

Troop did not do anything wrong in that video.

Troop has been in very tough environments all his life. He was actually shot at by police in South Carolina while dealing an underground game, you really think he’d be scared of fighting a sissy like Calli Bro?

You’re just a copy cat hater of Troop. If it wasn’t cool to hate on Trooper, you’d be hanging on his nuts because you’re obviously obsessed with the guy.

It’s time some of you grow up

Trooper had a bad run like this before where he started to get more down votes than up votes on his videos. I think it lead to his Trooper Across America trip so maybe we are about to see him react to the recent nosedive in interest in his videos so something new and interesting.

Although it might take 3-4 weeks for him to react to the plummeting reviews from his viewers. While the feedback comes back to him daily, he's a little slow on his end usually in seeing trends.

There is actually some potential, or there was before he totally soured people on the 360 idea with his horrible unedited videos, with the 360 concept if you focus the videos on something that would appeal to wanting to look in all directions.

A 1/2nl game at the Westgate with all of the dead down time is not one of those things.

Has anyone watched this video. Is anything edited in this one or is it 30 random minutes of unedited 1/2 boredom? I don't this Trooper knows the definition of "edit"...not to mention several other basic concepts in life.

That's the problem with Trooper. Even when he finds something good, instead of continually putting work into it and improving it to grow it and nurturing it, he just sits on it till it gets old and dies out. Look at:
(1) his vlog: opened a new youtube vlogging genre ==> got lazy and released poor quality videos in bulk ==> got passed by numerous other vlogs in views per video and quality
(2) his pokerz: made money at some point ==> got lazy, never studied, and rejected free coaching ==> breakeven/losing player who "realized" he doesn't like poker
(3) his relationship with Molly: had some sort of relationship/friendship with Molly ==> ignored her by making her watch horrible movies during the Super Bowl and made her eat cheap take out on the floor on a towel ==> mini freak out when she dumped him and left town for a month to just get away followed by flipping out on his viewers
