I’ve gotten more interested in his videos lately and this is a reason why. I think Brad has a similar attitude.
Agreed. Not being a loser in life goes a long way toward making Neeme and Brad engaging to viewers. Same for Kraut and Boski.

True. I suspect he got an offer of some kind that is allowing him to make a move away from poker since in one of this last month's vlogs he said something to the effect of making a big impact in Vegas. Maybe we'll see.

Trooper has vowed to never ever ever work for "the man" again.

Trooper is a gambling addict, he ain't quitting poker.

Please pay attention.

He's just got to convince people to "change their shopping habits."

Well I think that "Go Gamble" is a great brand and I'm glad he's doing well with it. One would think that only poker purists care about him playing poker on his vlog but I really think his following will cave by at least a third if he turns it into Starbucks, Dirty Dog, and water filters 100% everyday.

One of the first vlogs I ever did was at 5/10 actually, I was still figuring out how a camera worked so needless to say it was horrible! There are about 6 or 7 vlogs I did before heading to Vegas that are currently "unlisted" on YouTube because they truly are bad.

Unfortunately, the 5/10 player pool here is super tiny and historically the games were just not good(they run twice a week). A friend of mine played in it last week and said it was amazing, so I'll probably go check it out next week.

As an aside, my daughter was born in 2009, so I didn't play as much for awhile while I figured out the whole "diaper" and "being a dad" thing.

If he's quitting poker does that mean trooper is not hosting the game at west gate anymore? Does anyone know if that's still a thing?

Trooper's life is boring as it is. If he quits poker and stops with the Vegas scenery shots -- nobody will watch. Unless his new profession is a race car driver or assassin.

Troop is not quitting poker. The next time he follows through on a statement will be the first.

No doubt Trooper would think he would be the best race car driver ever...... if only he put the hours in.

Hated seems a bit strong for a youtube personality we don't personally know. Being a little abrasive on a non-personal level might just be a youtube schtick of his, and might also just be how he comes across, because when he's been shown around other vloggers, they seem to like him.

A reg-heavy game is typically a bunch of losers pushing around money. You are less likely to stack someone with TPTK (and in some places, you are probably getting stacked if you get it in with that hand), but you can get a steady stream from all of your opponents' leaks. It's just not exciting for some people to play in a game where you can grind out consistent modest wins by playing small-pot poker.

Or you could just walk down the street to a less reg-infested game.

I honestly cannot understand how troop gets any views at all. They're super boring and monotonous with zero poker content. They're so bad that I can't even hate watch them and that is setting quite a bar...

He really needs his own containment thread so there can be some positive energy for other vloggers.

Most poker vloggers go over hands and not only are they talking about hands, but you can root them on when they discuss those hands. I probably experience this most with Boski when he talks about how he did in a tournament.

THIS.

Trooper has gone from being on Top of the Heap to being in the Bottom of the Barrel in just two years.

He has banned hundreds of people from commenting on his vlogs, because he gets butthurt when they write negative comments.

As a result, the comments on his vlogs sound like a Jim Jones Kool-Aid drinking circle jerk.

There are so many good vloggers out there..Neeme, Boski, Owen, Poker Kraut, Jaman, just to name a few.

Agree TrooperAIDS should have his own containment thread with all his negativity..and focus on the positive energy of all the others..

Unfortunately, a handful of dullards took over this thread with your horrible posting/stalking and most vloggers avoid it like the plague now, which I can understand.

I asked R*R if I could maybe help the cause and start getting these thread cancers out of here and hopefully get this back on track and foster more vlogger-driven discussion, which will take some time but hopefully eventually happen.

One thing I did notice is that once R*R made that announcement, all the turds wisely decided to shut their faces before I lit them up, so maybe that is a good start. They are not even on a short leash though at this point, I am straight up holding them by their collar and they have zero chances left.

So vloggers, if you are reading this, please know that many here would appreciate any and all discussion you would like to add. 2+2 could be and should be a big part of growing your brands and that will hopefully be the case moving forward.

Its would be so easy to have a trooper containment thread and another thread for the good vlogs.
Any post in the good vlog thread about trooper gets banned.

Let all the trash go in the trooper thread

Do the above quoted posters, and others, realize they are the very source of all the Trooper negativity in this thread? Clearly not.

Do they realize the mods are targeting them for dismissal from the thread? Probably not.

Self-centered, unhappy and always looking for external reasons for their own opinions and feelings, these posters are one of the finest examples of true sociopathy expressed on the interwebs.

I vacillate between wanting them banned from the thread and being fascinated at the chance to read first hand expressions of twisted minds.
