Sounds like he used the "death in the family" excuse, except it wasn't his own family. It was the oddest thing.
It's pretty sick how people like to use deaths in the family for their own gain..either to gain sympathy or in this case to impart guilt. It's such a cheap and transparent ploy. Lol @ Trooper using a death in someone else's family to do this though. I'm going to go ahead and put it out there that I don't believe him for a second but i also don't give a ****. He's a terrible person either way.
