but I just don't get to the river like that because I would have built up the pot much earlier. And I definitely would include boats and ace high flushes in villains range.
this is kind of where I was on this as well

It's not near as fun watching troop play online poker when he isn't cussing out everyone from two plus two while doing it.

I agree with Trooper that his videos help to bring players into a poker room. However, I think Trooper needs to consider that casinos don't want blackjack or craps players to spend more time in the poker room because they are watching his videos. From the casino point of view, he may be doing more harm than good.

It was a smart move by trooper not to live the house in his latest vlog

A guy who moderates the forums doesn't want posters to tap the glass?

I hope have this wrong bc that would be some pathetic BS. Cleary the vlogger in question is a weak player and could use some guidance on to play at a higher level.

It'd be cool to see Andrew coach Trooper a bit. But we know that Troop won't accept coaching, even if it's free.

Watching vids of Trooper coaching Andrew would be far more entertaining.

Yet you all watch daily. If I was the troop I'd be reading this thread and thinking to myself "Got Em"

whey - only look behind the spoiler if you are in a safe space.

Spoiler:
What's the reasoning on thinking that the villain can only have a set in the spazzy 89s hand? With a flop of 874dd, is it reasonable to also include things like Axdd, 56s, and 78s (despite your 8 blocker), in addition to sets? Given your flop overbet, your line is telling a story that encourages villain to come over the top light on such a coordinated flop, isn't it? Seems like that additional perceived fold equity would open it up to a lot more stuff like XXdd, 9Ts etc as well. What am I missing?

Yeah but your at least objective and reasonable in your comments. My comment was directed at the habitual ignorant posting in this thread. I watch all of them as well but thats because I find the videos entertaining and while I dont agree with everything he does I dont find the need to come to thread and be an ignorant jackass.

and regarding the online heads up matches, I couldnt watch more than the first few minutes of the video.

I havent seen troopers latest vlog, but if its true that he is indeed moving over to online, it is a great decision for a couple of reasons:

1. its a big 'FU' to the poker rooms for not letting him film. he's basically saying, 'ok, you don't want free advertising for your room to my tens of thousands of fans who religiously watch my vlog every day? fine, i then i don't need your business either.'

2. trooper's biggest problem, and the reason he has gone broke in the past, is that he hasn't put in enough hands at the table. playing online will help in a couple of different ways: a) he will get in more hands in less time. trooper has already proven that as long as his busy schedule doesnt stop him from getting to the table, that he can earn a very respectable salary from playing poker. this wont be as much of a problem online, where he can still get in 2k+ hands a day despite his busy schedule if he focuses on heads up. b) he will probably save 4-5 hours of his day from not having to drive to the casino, park, walk, and get distracted by everything going on around the strip. that is 4-5 more hours a day that he will be able to grind poker.

haha don't get me wrong, those are all considerations I made and possibilities don't misinterpret my "hassss to be a set" as my actual thought process on it b/c lolz #range. Vs this particular player though I would def range the sets heavier b/c he didn't strike me as the type to raise his draws with this kind of sizing +truth was it was rather irrelevant b/c of the sizing I'm left with pretty much a fold or jamming top pair no kicker.

*btw would def nerf the 5-6 and 7-8 type hands from this guy b/c he was a rather nitty player pre and flat my oversize open in early position

*anytime I manage to get a spazz hand on cam you can be certain it makes it on video

"The game tonight at the Golden Nugget was so good. *flashes shot of chip stack* I was in the game for $985, and..."

Andrew's new vlog has no table action. this sucks. You could blame Doug Polk, I'm blaming all the imitators. If you watch a Trooper vlog, there are 45 related videos with all these other dudes new subpar vlogs as recommendations. All someone who works in a casino has to do is watch a single vlog and they'll see how many of these are popping up, so it's natural for them to want to get out in front of it and stop it now. Before you know it, there's gonna be some clown who shows players' reactions after he "pwns" them in pots.
