In Trooper's latest, he picks up Qs6d right near the 5:00 mark and it looks like there's already a red chip on the button. Didn't peg him for a button straddle type, if indeed that's what was happening - hard to tell for sure.

With Trooper's lack of work ethic, and overall level of intelligence, it constantly astounds me he survives.

Trooper has got to have a hidden source of income, be it a family member, or a monthly payment from some type of legal settlement, such as a car accident. Something keeps Trooper financially afloat, and it's not YouTube or poker.
It think people really overestimate how hard it is to maintain a reasonable standard of living as a single guy with no child support, alimony, student loans or substance abuse issues to worry about. I also think that it is not out of the realm of possibility that Trooper is being staked on very favorable terms by some of his more generous viewers or his Carolina friends and just not disclosing that fact after all the drama from his last staking arrangement.

Really smart and thoughtful for him to put on camera the supposed fish with a huge arrow saying seat change to the left of the main target. I'm sure if the mark watched the vlog he wouldn't feel good about that maybe even embarrassed. . Talk about tappin the tank, which im pretty sure he was talking about a few vlogs previously but I might be mistaken. Even if that particular spot doesn't see it then there will probably more fun players who watch his vlog that will see it and not want to sit in a game with him.

Looked like he was steaming when he lost that pot with a backdoor flush when he counted his chips out and then shoved them in the middle like a spoilt kid .

Trooper has berated fish many times in the past. This arrow on the mark isn't really anything new for him. It's funny that Trooper knows all about poker etiquette but thinks it's fine or has an excuse as to why the rules don't apply to him. In a way they don't though, as Trooper seems to be the soft spot at the table most nights.

It is humorous that in his last vlog he blurred out a female who was sitting across from him. In this one he posts a big arrow at the "target". I am starting to question Troopers mental stability. He seems rather clueless to pretty much everything.

I wonder if Trooper is being staked or some kind of financial arrangement that he's not disclosing on the vlog. He has been on a brutal downswing recently and hasn't said anything about financials.

I would assume that youtube and patreon and stuff like that covers his monthly nut at best. Hopefully he has a lot of savings from when he was on a big upswing last year.

At least it's not Bally's or the Nugget where he is clearly outclassed.

Quite a lot of casual (read bad) players. Not surprising since if you're a tourist staying downtown and want to 'try out some poker' that's the only place to play.

Indeed...this is one of my favorite places to play when im in Vegas! Its a nice room in a historical property with No GTO Hoodie / backpackers berating me about my range. There are lots of soft, soft players who are happy to give you their money, especially if you buy them a beer, high five them and agree that if they had only hit ONE more 7 THEY would be stacking the chips...it had to be a 50/50 chance, right?

Well then, how come Trooper loses nearly every time he plays there ?

I little secret Troop does not understand.

If you congratulate the weak player that 2 outs you, he will stick around so you can get you money back+.

Otherwise, he leaves or gives you no action unless he has the nuts.

It's not just poker but grown ups don't like playing with AHs.

I'm surprised that he didn't go broke yet.

He has a bigger bankroll than I thought.

Anybody else find it hilarious that every time Negreanu walks up to his table, he asks, "Who here has a job?" He tries to find out who is a grinder/pro versus amatuer from the start.

Latest Ryan Frechette vlog has Trooper in it at Ball_'s.

Spoiler:
Looks like he racked up $1600+. I guess he could have been into the game for $1400, though.

One of the slightly redeeming features of his vlog

PA was the one who staked Trooper? Huh??? I thought he had some wealthy friend doing it, not another low limit grinder. It ended just as one would expect, unfortunately.

PA just wrote it off as one of his charitable donations.

same reason he works his ass off producing a daily "lifestyle vlog" but sells poker themed merchandise...

same reason he is not packing his bags for Stones Gambling Hall

same reason he is skirting around the biggest annual gathering of poker players in the world.....Why did he drive all those hours straight through to get back to Vegas for the WSOP if he wasnt going to play in or vlog the WSOP?

I hate being critical...I like the man and i respect the work he does on his videos, but not taking us as his viewers to the WSOP is a huge mistake...

how about pointing out the "fish" in a vlog that resulted in a loss? i mean, it's not live, you are allowed to delete some footage. imagine setting yourself up for ridicule as much as he does.

When you don't need to know what day it is you tend to miss these things or he is still waiting for an official invite.

Just watched the latest Ryan Frechette VLog, which incidentally is the first vlog of his I have watched. What is up with all that meditation bull ****? Other than that he seems like a likeable guy, who I'm assuming smokes a lot of weed.
