Yeah I checked HendonMob this morning too. Unfortunate to see that they're behind schedule.

Thanks for posting that pic. I guess we know he's not final four, but I suppose he could have had a small cash.

This guy. Sorry I had the numbers in his name slightly off. He's going to be playing in the vloggers' game last I heard.

He's a former fighter.

J. Boski will disagree but ...

Of all the vloggers out there, Boski's vlog has cost the vlogger (Boski) the most money.
If a player at the table has watched his vlogs, you know Boski is accustomed to a super aggro bluffy style.
Boski is not getting as many of these bluffs thru as he did pre-vlog.

I could go back into his vlog history and almost draw a line where his aggro-ness stopped working as much as it did pre famous vlogger.
Boski's late stage bluffy aggro-ness has been killing him of late. And I suspect to many people at the table have seen his act to fold.

Boski is just not inclined to change gears late stages of the tournament. That said, Boski makes a living at it, and I'm just a keyboard warrior

(2) Way to many levels deep to pull off.
At the end of a tournament, players are just too tired to go beyond " I know you are, but what am I."

Not arguing, but what % of the players in an average las vegas poker tournament do you think have watched Boski's vlogs closely enough to know his tendancies?

This whole line of "who would take who" is beyond stupid.

Have we all really regressed back to the 5th grade ???

That said: Trooper train ?

Are you out of your mind !
Are you trying to top Ducks in the temporary delusional category ?

Train, that one is not even funny, that one went right to setting me off !

That's a good question. I would guess most of the regular tourney grinders are aware that he has a VLog. I doubt many are legitimately studying the VLogs to try and gain an edge. He's aggro, I'm assuming playing with him for more than a couple hours will tell any half competent player that.

Good question

My guess is 30%, and I would not be surprised if it's higher.

Also, players at the table talk to each other, so one player at the table can let other players know Boski is a super aggro bluffer.

Boski's secret sauce recipe has been compromised !

Brad Owen's genuineness and likeability definitely project through the screen, plus his hand analysis is usually reasonable or at least worthwhile to consider. At worst you hear the mindset of a player you could encounter. But this is the second vlog in a row where he ups the shill factor too high for my liking. In particular that hand history app he used was super tilting to look at and even harder to follow.

I'd guess < 5% of the field in Boski's mtts have seen a boski vlog.

I do agree though it appears his aggression gear has gotten a little out of line. Happens to anybody who doesn't play just simple abc poker.

My trend was always play abc, aggro up until i was in maniac mode, start over at abc....i think it's time for Boski to take an mtt or three to abc it up and only aggro out on premium spots.

I was going to say maybe 5-10% are aware he even has a vlog. Keep in mind how many tournament poker grinders are 50+. They aren't watching youtube. And then maybe half of those have seen it enough to know he's aggressive. So I am estimating <5% would be able to actually adjust to play he shows in his vlogs. But i really dont know. It's a hard question.

I think, like a few have mentioned, it wouldn't take long to determine Boski is an aggro and adjust accordingly.

I really enjoy his vlog and find myself always hoping he sucks out when he gets called by a dominate hand.. never seems to occur often however.

I don't watch many Brad Owen vlogs. I did catch the last one and you're right about the shill factor. That app was hard to look at, way too much going on for my liking. Color scheme way too busy.

the guy doesn't know how to table select. He'll sit in a crappy game all night long without checking any of the other games along the strip.

Thats some serious assuming going on.

There is a large group of organized players in Vegas that share poker information. Most of them are retirees and the vloggers have been on their radar. I think they call themselves the OTHillers. Sat next to one the other day in a 5-10 game at WSOP. His exact words "they are telling us how they handle different situations". He had a lot to say about Boski and Neemes playing styles while be complimentary of their videos. The dude had to be 65+yo.

Not all seniors have flip phones, drink coffee and wait for Aces.

Starbucks, Bally's, poker.
Hmm

Why the heck doesn't Trooper make up a batch of Big Berkey water, then some triple strength coffee, turn it in to Ice Coffee, partially freeze it, then bring it to the poker room ??

Bring a backpack, snacks, and some home brew and get serious.

Stop dicking around, and play some serious poker.

Trooper can waste time better than anyone in the Las Vegas valley.

I don't believe that for a second.

If there's a guy at the table who's raising pre, 3-betting, betting/raising large post flop you know he's aggro based on his actions.

If he's doing that a lot you know he's bluffing at least part of the time. If he does it really a lot you know he's bluffing a lot of the time.

I don't tourney but I've been at cash tables with aggro/bluffy guys (and sometimes play that way myself) and people at the table know what they're doing. What they don't know is how to adjust properly.

At worst if Boski sits with someone who's watched his vlogs but never played with him they'll have an idea of his style sooner than they would have without watching the vlogs.

That's about a million miles from being able to adjust correctly to that style.

Ballys still has free parking and center strip for poker room selection.
