There are a lot of players in Vegas with the long hair. Everyone's trying to be Todd Brunson.

That said, I have not once heard or seen any of the vloggers draw such comparisons.

Obviously if you take on the hard work of creating a vlog you hope that many people will show interest in your work and your message.

Vlogging is an art and a skill, and reducing it to a popularity contest like in Black Mirror season 3 seems beyond lame. And certainly, the whole idea of competition and of measuring success based on how many subs/views others have is not at the forefront for any of the vloggers ...

You think these guys don't look at the view counts and assess their potential or see futility in continuing? I would.

Looking at Neeme's early success and the potential for real money from vlogging, the Trooper should be questioning his lack of creativity and trying to break out of the rut that will eventually produce less and less returns.

IMO there is no comparison between the two and their products exist in the same niche market. Professionalism, humility and discipline go a long way.

I did laugh in real life though after trooper had recently blamed a loss on heavy food he hits up 2 huge ass sliced of greasy pizza...I think that's the kind of stuff that keeps people watching troops vids actually, it's not so much what's he going to do next? as much as it is seeing a confirmation that he's doing the same old stuff. The problem with that is I only want to check in on that 1-2 ti es a week max. I have been impressed by his progress in this 100 hour thing though I wish he made it more about progress/good vibes than a 'see!? Fk u haters' kinda thing but hey any change is good.

Trooper latest cliff notes:
+$635 and only 16.62 hours to go in 2 days. Failed to do 12 hours today like he planned. May be developing romantic relationship with Poker Kraut. Didn't see his kid

Not bad, I wonder if he has hit any other promos besides the first two days of the challenge.

@ Whey, Pure, and Trooper. When people tune in to watch your videos they want to see progression.

@Whey i have been following your blog and enjoy it a lot as well as TheTrooper. However, both of you have been playing 1/2-1/3 for a very long time with no real progression and unless you throw some solid content (travel, entertainment, occasional GF pic) it gets very monotonous.

Imagine this, I Vlog my life everyday working in the tech industry. I start at an entry level position with the hopes of making it to be an executive. In the beginning, people are thrilled and rooting for me but after nine years I'm not even a manager.

We are basically watching people go to work everyday with no improvement but are holding on to hope that you will advance and become masters of your craft.

For these reasons Vlogs like Jake's and Andrew's will take off much faster.

just my 2 cents not like they matter but i am rooting for all of the low limit grinders and do appreciate the Vegas content.

good luck out there.

I'll tell you why Andrew and others will have more subs and it has nothing to do with Trooper. There is a huge market out there for live cash game poker strategy videos. We already have countless Twitch and Yahoo videos of online poker play, which really does nothing for the people in the U.S as we can't play on those sites. I got bored watching people play online poker on Twitch after 5 minutes. The only one that was remotely entertaining was Stickyrice and that's because we were watching a fish take a stab at high stakes.

However, personal videos of live cash game poker from the player's perspective with their insight is something that really hasn't been done yet. Trooper could have tapped into this if he started showing and analyzing more hands, but he was afraid of the criticism.

So it really is not a slight at Trooper that these guys are getting ore subs, because they are producing totally different content which there is a great demand for. Troopers stuff is fine and I have watched every video since I got turned onto it over the summer, but I really love seeing the live hands along with the analysis from the new wave of Vlogers.

Pure Agression, if you are burned out of poker, have you ever considering staking as investment?

understandable. this is actually one of if not the main purpose of doing the vids for me; to help motivate that progress.

I totally get what you are saying. I've been going through a period of taking steps backward and it sucks. Success isn't a straight line there are peaks and valleys. I think we are all trying to do our best and if we persist we will all make it to where we want to be in life sooner or later.

We should take all these vlogs at face value and not compare them with each other. It's nice to see Troop with some rungood tho. They all give you the itch to grind live poker, which is good for the community. This is just my opinion.
