WoW, so this vid tested my resolve, came home from session and the new upload was still jacked up b/c one of the audio tracks was disabled. Anyways...here is the VLOG#2! Made a ton of improvements based on the feed back I got from the first one and I'm also slowly coming along on the shooting/editing. Check out both vids and I think you can see a massive improvement.

I was shooting for 15-20min on this one and it went to 25 BUT its VERY important to note that unlike the huge episode 1, the poker content is IN this video not as an additional vid. I think the whole thing is way cleaner/smoother/enjoyable to watch.

There is also a Q&A that goes with this video and it completely done and ready to post so subscribe to channel and that will def be up tomorrow.

For now Happy Thanksgiving and crush some turkey and enjoy the video...I need sleep baaad to put in a lot of hours today/tomorrow.

this link should be inactive for another hour or so then when the upload finishes I believe it will work, I'll try to wake up in a bit and make sure but if not it can be found on channel.

At what cost though? Seems the longer he plays the more he loses.

If he didn't do the promo he would just be finding ways to waste more time. At some point he will have to get a job either way.

Trooper ain't got time to be JELLY. He doesn't even have time for some turkey. These days he is completely consumed with crushing teh pokuhz.

The one thing the Troop has that Andrew doesn't is an overall story to tell. The Troop's is that he moved to vegas to grind 1/2 and try out life as a poker pro. He lived in that dump apartment, played a bit, got a job, got laid off moved to another place, doing more grinding, etc. Not sure what Andrew's story is. He's a poker pro. Have no idea what his bankroll is, history is, he plays moderately high stakes but each vlog seems like a complete standalone that can be seen in any order.

With the Troop, I'm interested in his story. Maybe since he isn't doing anything new and he's not "advancing the story" at all is the reason I'm bored with his vlogs but he does have a fascinating story to tell. I would like to know more about Andrew's life story though. Hope he goes into more about himself, his past, his goals, etc. in future vlogs.

While TheTrooper says things like he's all for other vloggers and whatnot, I think if/when Andrew passes him in subs after only 2 months of vlogs and TheTrooper has been going at it for years, it would really hurt the fella. He may take some time off of vlogging if that's the case and also if he begins to lose again. I don't know he seems somewhat emotionally unstable, and right on the edge, most of the time. After his big loss he's now up almost $700 for his challenge but that could change after his 12 hour session. This could be a losing proposition for him.

The vibe from troopers videos has changed a lot during this challenge. He seems more miserable, and low energy. He is also swearing a lot more which is off putting. He doesn't have a passion for poker and it is really starting to show.

It took Andrew less than 7 weeks to amass 10k followers. Pretty amazing. He will probably close in on Doug Polk by Christmas.

Trooper stacking on em is this vlog!

He's +1261 over 74 hours of play including a few hundred in promo money.

$17.51/hour at 1/2 is not bad.

If he can finish +2k or more, that $20/hour may give him some motivation to keep grinding and maybe finally move to 2/5 in 2017.

But when you average that with his last 2000 hours of play. He is at +/- $1/hr.

Troop says he doesn't understand why people are surprised that his daily swings are +/- 3 buy-ins and says those with lower swings must be nitty players who aren't making as much as they otherwise could at the tables. Yet he's a long-term losing player.

lol i caught that...in fact i was certain he was going to say "those guys might not be losing a lot but i guarantee they aren't making as much AS ME "(feshly hyped from the winning session) but he kinda paused and said..."as they could"

Good video. I would tighten up on the editing and use jump cuts to take out the dead time between questions.

I only remember $100 in promo money. Was there more?

On another note, in his last couple videos he has been super-confident about hitting the 100 hrs, which is a good thing as he will feel pressure to make that goal, now that he has told everyone its a done deal.

(There is a chance that he may have f*cked himself though cuz the dopamine has now been released.)

I'm pumped that Trooper is on pace to hit 100hrs and it looks like he will show a profit over that time. Maybe this 100hr challenge will be a turning point and we will see him putting in longer hours consistently and getting that winrate up.

I miss the poker content that his vlogs had before. When he tells a hand, I see no reason why he can't put up some card graphics to make it easier to understand. He mentioned a turn card and how it gave him an open ended straight bur I thought it was a gutshot. Graphics might help reduce confusion.

It's an exciting time in his vlog...finally.

I'm still a fan of Troops Vlog too but would love to see more poker hand histories and less coffee/pizza hand histories.
