Only way we'll see Diesel at 2-5 is if he's in the box dealing.
Even if he did play 2/5 he would probably make more money dealing.
He's still going to have to play to keep up his comp rate. He'd probably play more 2/3 for the double tier credits. But he would make enough at dealing to live on and would only play for comps. If you thought he was nitty before, imagine if he was only going for net zero.
Diesel is a huge disappointment to all us 1/2 nl grinders just trying to avoid the man and his total disregard of the rubric
yeah we should take a bunch of his quotes and say it back to him while we are grinding at his table. I'm glad he got some steady income though. it's best for him
You must have not put any serious commitment into it then because it should be an extremely easy gig to land, especially during wsop.
Also why troll him? He’s doing what he should be doing with his winrate, he will make more then most of these wanna be mtt live pro donks.
Good for him imo this is what trooper and pman should have done a long time ago and drop their egos
I have trouble with my paperwork . I am legal in the USA but can't get a sheriff's card because I can't produce a green card and I can't get a replacement one unless I fix paperwork in the country I was born in. my license doesn't even have my first name. just the letter C. I don't tell this story much but I got kicked out of Seton hall and my merryl lynch internship when I was 18 because my social did not match. that's how I started gambling for a living. By the time I fixed my permanent residency here I was 27/28 and was already gambling for almost 10 years. I am in the process of getting that fixed so hopefully in 2/3 years I'll be able to deal part time possibly.
It will be interesting to see if Rice continues being such a scrooge and a tightwad with his money once he has a decent income dealing poker. I suspect that he absolutely will. Some people just enjoy being miserly, regardless of how much they have.
Dealing is a pretty solid gig tbh. You’ll out perform a good chunk of 2/5 regs and literally all tourney players
Any sort of benefits for a dealing gig like this? I’m assuming no health insurance or 401k program but will he get any paid days off, free chocolate milk, etc?
Suggestions for [White Box Graphic Box For XYZ players] or this layout, format is the way to go for a while?
Other than smaller details like giving it a black frame box perhaps, my editing skills is pretty much this for a while.
Sound I played around as much as possible, sounds okay to me, idk how it sounds to you guys.
Feel free to ignore the poker stuff, just regarding strictly graphics/cosmetics.
TY
Edit (I removed the spoiler of villains hand already in the thumbnail, but its taking YT time to update)
I really liked your commentary. I don't think most of the Youtube audience really wants in depth or high level strategy though, which is unfortunate because thats what I prefer. They just want big pots and chip porn. Theres some crushers on twitch and youtube who get no views, meanwhile the most viewed channels are shitregs. Just the way it goes I guess. If you find that you dont get views, you may have to dumb down your content, which really is too bad.
Do you still play plo? I remember you from way back in the day, last I heard of you I think you were grinding 6 card plo or something. Hope to see a plo vlog from you in the future.

He is a temp dealer so no benefits I would think, but most poker dealers get access to free food in the employee dining room for at least 1 meal per shift plus all the fountain drinks, coffee, etc. they want. I would think The Orleans offers that, but don't know.
I guess we will know when El Diesel talks about the free food he gets with a big grin on his face.
I'd say he will be earning at least 5x by dealing, given that for the last year or so he's been living off comps and promos. But yes, at least triple his income if you go off his $14/hr historical average that doesn't include 2023 or 2024.
I agree with 5x easily.
Maybe 7-8x what he's made the last 2 years.
While he for some odd reason feels the need to track his play to the exact minute including bathroom breaks he also spends a lot of time casino hopping. When he sees he can probably make 25-30 dollars an hour dealing and pick up a lot of extra hours I doubt he leaves. Well unless of course he's somehow slighted by the entire poker room who won't recognize him as the best at everything in life.

Orleans definitely has food for their employees.Boyd also treats their employees well so it's probably actually good.I'm not even sure he knows this yet. He's going to be in all of his glory making "snow" angels with mashed potatoes on the floor.
Agree with this. He actually scrubbed up quite well apart from the out of control beard! If he can keep his composure and handle difficult costumers well (big if) then he could be pretty decent. It will be interesting to see how he reacts to the situation of consistently getting a much higher hourly and with zero variance.
I guess the Baluchistan pygmy jerboa motel he wore on his chin was not a deterrent.
Really happy for Diesel getting this dealing job. Huge step in the right direction to financial stability and because of that mental stability. As much as we hate on his bad decisions I have to give him props for finally taking a positive action.

Agreed. Now lets see if he is able to finish this planned work period for like 4-6 weeks, and actually log the hours like he have been talking about and not coming up with lame excuses/lol rationale to quit.
