But truly odd choices are his MO so here we are. I guess he wants to be Hamster 2.0 which he views as success but the rest of the world would view as punishment.

I finally found a single thing that I disagree with Rice on...

that Curmudgeon filled Leather Arse old smelly poker rooms with shart covered seats and rolled edge worn out Cheques are more +EV than newer beautiful comfortable rooms.

I just can't get on board with that one.

The ironic thing is if you're talking 5/10 nl + or plo where those games don't ordinarily run he's right. Not that he'd ever play that high. If some Vegas dump gets a 5/10 nl game it's incredible.

In fairness the Wynn poker room is only the nicest one in the country filled with people who are filthy rich.

Nobody there will be impressed with his meat in a cup haul from the mgm lounge nor will they run to their room to fetch him leftover chicken.

in all honesty here , diesel is pretty spot on for that when it comes to low limit games.

I have thousands upon thousands of stats and my hourly is better significantly at lower end properties , maybe my style fits better for it but when I have 10000+ hours of data I think it's significant enough sample size for a high confidence assessment . ill be quiet now about that

According to his narrative he already earns more than he needs, even though that equates to well under 20k per year. That said he still has to do weekly "challenges" where he either starves himself or sleeps in his car just to get by, but that's apparently is all by his own choosing.

Rice releases a video about his 2023 poker income where he actually manages to avoid mentioning what his poker income was. He then sums it up at the end by telling us 'there you go, poker income for 2023 told to you'

From the percentage figures he is giving I think his poker winnings may only have been 6 or 7k.
