2/5 is more aggressive and more variance. He wants a steady $13/hr. grind without the big swings. lol

I think the reason he doesn’t play those games is obvious. He isn’t looking to move up (which is something he said himself; people aren’t making that up).

But if you are right, why wouldn’t he play in those games? Why would he lie when he said he doesn’t want to play 2/5? Why would he played poker this long and still not move up?

Like I said he's probably making sure his retirement fund is very solid plus a bankroll. I could be wrong but it doesn't make sense why he wouldn't want to move up in stakes but than again I for one do actually think 2/5 is much different than 1/2/3 I mean it's double the stakes so that alone has to mean the game is at least 50% harder I mean 100% would equal the doubling in stakes so 50% harder is prob. The low and I guess is what it is someone who makes 5bbs an hour at 1/3 would have to be able to comfortably move to 2/5 I'd say making $20/hour at 1/3 but could be a mix of things but I bet he might be wait8ng for his retirement fund to be better before taking some shots with his bankroll he seems like that type in a way to me.

He's not making anywhere near 13 an hour long term oh wait I forgot he's been "running bad" for over a year. Bad run-outs , only 50 dollar stacks have something been he has a set etc etc

Actually all you guys are wrong, rice said it himself: everyone at 2-5 tables looks miserable and doesn’t have fun like at 1-2. Trooper said it himself too, all 5-10 players have Asperger’s and that’s why they’re better. Stakes above that don’t exist to them the same way the native Americans brains couldn’t register the mayflower.

Me and rice don’t see how making more money could lead to retirement faster since that is his goal, to retire in 10 years, by playing a higher stake even though he supposedly has a big enough bankroll for it. Being able to make 100-150k a year at 2-5 in those Wynn games has no use for el diesel, because he already makes more than he needs so making more money doesn’t interest him.

It’s all very well thought out, you all just don’t get it because you’re jealous ****ing haters.

This x 10

It's been obvious for a while that his current win rate is nowhere near that $13 figure. My guess is he's barely breaking even on the games and the bulk of his income is coming from the various promos and comps that he grinds.

feels like we are recycling the same lines about Diesel constantly.

I think we are all in agreement. is the constant repetition necessary

When he first started the channel Rice thought he would be making 40k a year from poker. If he makes even half of that this year it will be an absolute miracle.

I met a poker player once back in the old Plaza electronic poker room who told a ton of homeless in Vegas stories. He was a really well put together guy, definitely a degen though. He said during summers he made sure he always had $5 to lay a parlay and stay in the sportsbook until sundown watching sports and acoring free drink tickets from patrons to stay out of rhe heat.

Feels a bit more optimal than room hopping every hour cause you lost with top pair.

That's where you're wrong though. He plays in promos that incentivize NOT playing hands. He averaged winning 1.4 hands an hour and contributed way less into the promo fund than he received.

Diesel's poker life hack is to win enough from his premiums to cover the blinds he pays and siphon up that sweet promo money just by existing at the table.

Lol well there's not too much to discuss about Trooper lately so Rice has been filling in the void, and to a much lesser degree Pman.

Once again, Diesel reveals himself in the comments section.

"It was like the 8th job I had where being better didn't matter. And I got no offers. And I hated it." - Diesel

So now that he's doing something where being better matters and you get rewarded the better you are, he does bare minimum to survive at the lowest stakes. That's pretty telling imo.

No idea why no one offered him a job. Just bad luck and run bad I guess, all the time like poker. #pokerlife is so much easier with zero self awareness and negative EQ.

Story of his life. Rice's version of events is that he is the best in the world at everything he has ever done, despite getting zero recognition or acknowledgement for it.

He's finally found something where he is in total control of his own destiny. The end result is that he spends 60 hrs a week to earn less than minimum wage but at least he can't be screwed over by anyone.

How does a sports bet parlay work?

Seems like a good idea if checkout is at 11 am and want to relax and let the heat die down before driving back to California.

Ofc of course diesel never buys the button but is mad that new players in EP wait for the button to pass. Diesel can’t comprehend that he is exactly the same as those miserable nits. Never ceases to amaze me that Diesel has the most Scrooge mentality but the income of Bob Cratchit.

Ok everybody stop posting ITT, 2p2 doesn't need the traffic/views, everything is ****!

Rice is basically the only thing keeping poker vlogging alive. Stopped watching depaulo a long time ago. Trooper heel turned and is woke lollipop selling non GMO oil man now. Boski is boring. The others are also boring.

At least Rice admitted the $20 1/2 rice to go buffet box was a mistake. A really, really stupid mistake but there may be a hidden view incentive that somehow he's in on.

Rice is a chopstick food

you stopped watching DePaulo and Boski and instead watch Rice everyday

because a man with an ugly beard standing in a parking garage telling you about comps and promos is more interesting than a vlog with good editing, photography and production about actual poker? c'mon man

Diesel is the fiery car crash of poker vlogs. You're just jealous cause you didn't know what a small blind or a big blind was before Diesel visually explains it.

Imagine that. Nitty promo grinders doing nitty promo grinders things by waiting for the button to pass. It's like when you see $50 stacks at the table. Telltale sign the game is poor and you should either table change of room change immediately unless you know, you need hours to qualify for the Player Appreciation Tournament cause that's the bulk of your income as well.

Here is what nobody has written about, and will make people have to eat a disgusting rice cooker humble pie.

ELD made roughly $400 USD from Youtube in 1 month with 2,000 Youtube subscribers.

So $200 USD per 1,000 Subscribers

He is currently growing at 30-40 Subscribers Per Day.

1 year out should have him at about 15,000-20,000 subscribers.

With his current trajectory he will be banking $3,000-4,000 per month in Youtube income April 2025.

It was never about the poker...haters.

It's about three things...
(holds up fingers holding back ring finger)
  1. Poker Lifestyle
  2. Nomadism
  3. Ecology

Realize he will be the top no.2 poker vlogger and stop being miserable.
