Anyone who needs a stop loss is not mentally strong enough to play poker full time. They also do not have an understanding of probability if they are going to let something that happens like less than 10% of the time upset them enough that they need to quit playing for the day.

The only viable reasons to quit playing a session early is if you are not playing well independent of whether you are stuck three buy ins or up three buy ins, life commitments, tired or the game quality is poor.

Why can't he find an illegal with culinary kills?

We are missing the success Rice is enjoying in his pursuit of a luxurious retirement.

$3,300 in dividend income and a yield of 2% from an ETF like VIG indicates a $165,000 portfolio.

What do we think of the future of Sprkli Sweets project based on what we have seen from the market vlogs this far?

Do we believe this will keep going into the longrun, or will it be a quick up and down from this point?

I am actually not sure what i truly believe at this point. I will give Trooper one thing though, he seems more happy doing the Sprkli stuff than i have ever seen him in regards to poker/doing gambling related vlogs.

High effort, low reward will lead to burnout / frustration.

You mean a "type" like Jimmy Chagra , the reputed drug dealer, who reportedly hired Charles Harrelson, a hitman ( and father of Woody Harrelson, the actor who plays a bounty hunter in No Country for Old Men) to assassinate a federal judge in Texas ? .

Not a lot of likely opponents you may face fit that "type", but fantasize away at the table if it entertains you.

As an aside, it would be an AML issue for any casino to accept a duffel bag of drug money to fund a gambling spree. Things have changed a little in recent years.

Their marketing plan continues to evolve to keep the tent fresh and exciting.

T is going to dress as an LV showgirl next week and offer a pic with every nut purchase.

Is it net income or gross sales?

35k Gross sales for the year is the cap before needing to get a full business license and possibly a commercial kitchen.

Who knows how much side action is going unreported though.

Here in Texas, we do not have casinos...

We do not care how you bring in your drug money.

Duffel bag, backpack, plastic grocery bag, sock, etc.

Here in Delaware we don’t care if you leave the toilet seat up, wear saggy pants or fold aces pre-flop but don’t base your toughness on what state you live in!

Im from Cali bro!

So maybe the Troopers have Sparkli 1 and Sparkli 2 company so that each company can earn $35,000 per year similar to the Left Twix and and Right Twix companies.

It would be super easy to just vastly under report their sales. I mean who is checking up on them at these markets to see how many cash sales are being reported?

In his latest video Rice seems genuinely flabbergasted that the low stakes player pool in LV refuses to pay him off when he gets big hands. Some of the hands he mentions where he basically coolers players and still they either get away or lose the minimum against him.

I would imagine it can become quite vexing for coach. Except he puts it down to everyone just being super tight like himself, he doesn't realise thats it's his uber nitty table image which is working against him. Those same players would probably play the same hands very differently against literally anyone else!

Just watched it myself. Also its freaking amazing the way he talks about the ubernitty Vegas games, and how lots of his reg opponents simply doesent put any money into the pot without the stones. Like Rice himself isnt a part of the problem lol. So many of the 1/3 or 2/5 NL games in Vegas is basically unplayable especially during daytime, and regs like Rice is a big big part of the reason why this is the case.

Its just hilarious, this is the classic no self reflection stuff going on wich many regs have. They want action, straddles and big pots- but they want everybody else to create it for them so they can just sit back and pocket the easy money without losing a fraction of EV.

I always preach this to other regs i come across, if you want people to give you action and play a higher amount of big pots with you the ball is on your half of the court. Start to play some more hands even if you stretch it a litle bit, start 3 betting light pre once in a while, start to find some ways to stackoff without the stones, put the straddle out there even if a couple of miserable nitregs refuses to do it or cries about it.

Yeah he was definitely describing himself wether he believes it or not. If the games are so tough to beat why does he stay there for 3/4 of the year? Go to Texas, Oklahoma, Florida or Maryland. Hell even the games he described at Mohegan Sun sounded amazing. There’s so many places with much more beatable poker games but that comes with higher variance and the possibility of getting stuck more than 2 buy ins, so that’s completely out the question for Rice.
