Yes but he only reports on hours played and living expenses. No actual poker results are ever given.

And with no health insurance.
And with no 401k match.
And with no paid time off.
And with family helping to pay his bills.

Yup, very jealous of his situation and all his “freedom”.

Diesel reports about anything and everything else than his actual poker results. Thats how painful these results are to him if you will.

I mean he will break down how much he uses on laundry pr day pr week pr month pr year, he will report how much Herbs/Rye won or lost when they are on a trip and he would probably report how much his cousin in the other side of the country uses on toilet paper pr week before he will start reporting how much(how little) he is making from poker. Its just abslutely hilarious these coping strategies he is displaying.

So basically play four full days of poker. The only challenge to getting enough hours in is all the casino hopping to get action.

How is his game better suited for 2-5? His hand reading and postflop play are horrible and even PF he will play garbage like 84o and A5o when he shouldn’t. On the other hand because he clicks buttons it must have confused a lot of his opponents over the years so he can be tricky.

He might play tighter in 2-5 though so instead of calling in the sb against a raise with A5o like I’ve seen him do he might just fold that trash.

at 2/5 they would respect his raises!

For the record the notion that players that struggle to beat 1/3 would be suited better for 2/5 is just absolute complete BS.

Trooper may have deluded himself to believe that in some ways, due to for example positive variance coming his way when he have played 2/5 for small samples or his random buttonclicking confuses some of the 2/5 regs.

This guy Rice can waste time better than Trooper use to be able to.

Pretty sure Rice changes casinos to try to find players who might pay him off, also to find games that aren't too lively, games he might be able to go heads up to the flop.

That, and to go south with his chips.

It's gotta be harder and harder for Rice to find a game where 2/3rds of the table ain't familiar with his act, and won't give him action.

Yes exactly this, what is the number 1 thing people care about from poker players? How much they make. It’s all cope with el diesel as is a lot of his other justifications for things. He’s said in the past I believe “people aren’t interested in that” or something to that degree. He posted his best ever year results, they are pitiful, he scapegoats people who make over 100k, “oh they just blow all their money, and actually I’m better off because I save 2k a year opposed to this fictitious person I made up who blows all his money” in one of his earlier videos I always talk about, he thought he would make 48k I believe that year, knowing what we know now, that’s a total fantasy, he’s best ever year is 23k.

Diesel does show his stats for poker earnings but only many years after the fact and only after they have been very carefully curated.

That way it's like the downswings never even happened because the results are all averaged out and merged together. It would be too raw and painful to report on an individual losing session/trip or even a less profitable year.

That's not what his channel is about anyway. If you want that kind of raw honesty you can go watch any number of the other popular poker YouTubers.

I only occasionally watch a video when he talks about poker. A title like that just ensures that I won’t even watch a second of that and I can’t be the only person who feels that way.

Lol so I just watched the vlog. The challenge isn't just a fun thing to try to achieve for the vlog. It's a necessary grind to achieve diamond plus so he can get cheap rooms, no resort fees and four free drinks daily to combat inflation...never mind. I forgot Diesel is inflation proof.

But I guess 50 Poker Hours in 4 (I'm holding up four fingers irl) Days is a better title than "I need these bonus tiers to get to Diamond Plus so I can survive on $10/hr at poker"

I played 14ish hours at Caesars in a day just to see if I could get the 125 credit tier bonus. Didn't do it in one sitting, I broke it up into 3 pieces.

Because he often outlevels himself by assuming his opponent makes tricky and super aggro plays.
