People are tweeting at Diesel about the recently released application process for poker dealers at 2024 WSOP.

Is this the year he said is going to deal? Or did he change his mind?

Yes, this is the year he said he would do it.

I am saying the chances of him doing it is very small, and if he gets started i predict he lasts a maximum of 2 weeks dealing during the chaos that is the WSOP.

He walks as soon as he gets disagreed with by a floor or manager. 48hrs tops.

Where's he going during Superb Owl Week?

Spending 72 hours in a parking garage to avoid astronomical room rates and juicy, crowded poker games.

This guy went superviral for only eating Costco samples for 3 days. It's amazing how lightning in a bottle comes super easy to some content creators with a creative idea that no one has seen before.

Sometimes, the best ideas are right in front of your nose.

Actually... I changed my mind on this. For the reduced employee housing rate and since Rice would be "making way more money than he ever needed to survive", he would probably stick it out to lock in housing, 5x his net worth and load up on those super juicy dividend stocks he loves. That juicy 6%, $0.25/share AT&T kickback is huge. Presuming that's his holding and he's making $3k+ off dividends, he's loaded with a quarter million dollar portfolio.

Pretty sick with a max income year of $22k if you ask me. The man has this life game figured out. Can't deny it.

This is definitely a challenge/record that ELD could hit out of the park.

Maybe he can do the #pokerlife version. How many consecutive days he can live off of only MGM lounge food and free condiment packets

Trooper/Lady Trooper's candy business is way too labor intensive.

The math doesn't work out imo.

12 pralines an hour and u can only make $26 from that. Take away their costs and how much are they making exactly.

The brittle, the ingredients costs must be pretty high. Nuts are pretty expensive these days.

Sprkli pops at $1.25 each, you have to sell hundreds a day.

It's nice to see them working together and be excited about something, but i have a feeling they're going to quit after a few months once they realize how little they're actually making.

Given what our inside man said, I wonder if this fails if they will stay together? Or what the next thing will look like

they seem pretty happy together.

my prediction is that trooper gets a regular job as a waiter or poker dealer and lady trooper keeps making candy as a side hustle and they just keep their vlog as a couples channel.

Trooper sunday + normal job + vlog money will mean he can make a pretty decent amount of money. No reason he can't make 80-100k a year combining those 3 revenue streams.

The margin on those pops would have to be very high. The ingredients are juice and sugar and would literally be like a couple cents worth of ingredients per pop.

It's the time/labour involved making them that is the big factor and how many they can churn out in their non-commercial kitchen setup.

Lol Diesel doesn’t even need to put any additional money in since he just reinvests all the dividend payments back into the same crappy dividend stocks, he beat the system!

That Vegas cabbie guy on Twitter basically did diesel’s WSOP dealing plan last year, in 2 months he made $22k gross, 17k net but admitted he had to game the system to get more downs.

If Diesel does deal during the series I see him not getting enough hours, complaining about others getting more hours, quitting in a huff, and using that as a reason why no one should work. Either that or he can’t adjust to the new work schedule and has one of his freak outs, since he always seems to have irregular sleep patterns.

This is the funniest comment of the year.

Base on T's physical condition he would pass out after 30 seconds of pumping.

I want to see him smuggle out a burger in his beard from the dealer's buffet.

No way he could deal without engaging in clever banter at the table precipitating in his termination.

Every time he works a job he complains about it and hates it so much. He takes pride in not working for the man.

And he was only working part time.

I just saw the video of them at the farmers market. Yea the production is too slow, too much time and work, can't imagine they can make any livable wage from this after all costs and taxes without shipping.

I would not be surprised it starts to unravel during the interview process.
If Rice can get thru that, I see it possibly unraveling during orientation.
If he actually starts as a dealer, I see the job lasting one week tops.
Rice has a big mouth and he's always right.
