T has always survived on the generosity of others.

A few feet away, hiding under a poker table, crouched Tim Watts, a longtime poker dealer in Greenville’s underground rooms. That night, he was playing on money Awtry had given him on the condition Watts split any winnings. It was a common arrangement around town, just as common as Awtry lending money to whomever needed it.

Great call there. I watched a "best of badger" clip on youtube. Badger even did a little river dance. This can't be the first time he's heard the comparison.

times must be very tough in the trooper household right now. he had already been bypassed by the majority of vloggers with an ounce of intelligence but now even the low level vloggers like pman have surpassed him. surely this will cause him to take a long look in the mirror and think about what he can do differently to improve.

I am sure T saved his money from when he was making 6 digits a year instead of four.

In the years before Tim Watts ended up hiding under the table at Awtry’s house, he had been a card dealer all over town, making as much as $65 an hour pitching cards to Greenville’s poker-playing elite. He’d start at 7 p.m. and deal all night. He’d see dozens of new faces every hour.

It's like winning the 100m in the Special Olympics and thinking it will translate to the regular Olympics.

There's a reason all those people are working at casinos.

Pman charging markup for the wsop main event is reasonable.

However, Pman adding a bunch of wsop events is a big mistake, imo.

Pman has obviously made a shitload of mistakes. He had a really nice run in the employee event. Capitalizing on that run and trying to take a shot in the lower buy in events while having an income stream, excitement, momentum, and support from randos is probably his best decision yet imo.

He will gain a ton of experience with limited exposure, boost his brand name, possibly hit a big score and if he craps out on every event if he sells out will still have a successful series

Lol this cracked me up.

I'd rather be harassed by the obnoxious mostly gross looking flapper girls that have infiltrated the strip since covid while I try to avoid tripping on homeless tweekers than sit at a Vegas buffet with random people.

+1000, that's how ask and bid work to clear markets.

It is basic econ, so ask whatever amount you seek in the way of price. The market will answer. Markets can be pretty efficient at clearing all trades that participants desire to make.

Absolutely correct, he will gain a lot of content for his stream, whether it attracts vlogging interest depends on how he reports it. ....("definitely a smart move" ....what were the odds I would ever write that about pman's marketing acumen.)

Not sure if anyone else here has watched any of Brettski on YouTube. He is a young degen with a vlogging style similar to RDP before he won a WSOP bracelet in a New Jersey parking lot.

Good stuff with lots of potential. Just finished vlogging a week in Vegas getting rekt playing both poker and in the pits.

Loves playing the NUMBAHS ie. roulette. Good stuff..

It feels like there should absolutely be no crossover between "poker vlogger for 10 years" and "needs to sell 2/3 action to a $300 MTT"

9 events plus the Main? That must drain all his winnings from the first event.

Trooper probably thinks his supporters should freeroll him into every event he wants to play, give him 33% and pay him an hourly at like $30/hour. He sells basically all his action for the smallest tourneys, brings a backpack worth of the junk he sells to try and make deliveries, refuses to grind bubbles to reduce his investors’ losses, and he doesn’t even post significant hands other than he busted AQvAK.

Chino Rheem is a pure scum scammer but at least he has the common courtesy to write detailed fake hands to the people he is scamming. Trooper is basically saying I’m going to oversell and scam you but it’s not worth my time to really put on a good scam, so give me money and shut up about it, oh and buy this new lollipop flavor.
