btw - That was a nice stack that you had at Westgate Saturday night. I wish I'd have moved to your table when I had the chance.

As for playing TBC -- he is a specialist at buying in at the minimum and making a profit at low level NL games. He could forge a decent life for himself if he could just quit the damn blackjack games he craves. I have seen him be successful in small O8 Limit games. He tends to drive the dealers batty while they are calculating quarters and he is telling them how much! I don't know how he would fare in a $1K winner-take-all game (I think he had one of those with Irish Dave? years ago). But ... he has gotten better and less predictable in his play over the years. I think you would have a difficult time beating him.

Best o' luck,

l36

Pleasure to finally meet you, I’m sure I’ll see you around more! Thank you for the kind words

Judging by some of these hands, you'd think that they were coached by Doug Polk.
I like how Andrew played the A5. Sometimes you just lose and if a guy can call off that much with A high then gh him.

Had Neeme's opponent insta-called, then it can be argued that Neeme played it bad. But the opponent tanked forever. This indicates near perfect sizing and barreling. They opponent ultimately called. Well played by both.

Didn’t TBC go on a 50-100k plo/8/5/big o heater after casinos opened back up in 2020-2021? I am sure he plays all games atrociously, is insanely superstitious, but wins heaps anyways only because of the way he looks and speaks. I haven’t ever played with him though, just saw him creeping around RW machines.

Getting a payoff image can be really lucrative that’s why some regs paint their nails (weird vegas nut job grinders) or grow ridiculous hairdos (Limon) etc etc.

TBC could probably be long since retired, living El Diesel’s dream, if he wasn’t addicted to vbj and if he could realize he can’t actually count cards at live blackjack.

What about the way he counts cards on VBJ machines?

These morons always tank and yet they always call. Texas players are too dumb to fold Ace high and yet are also too dumb to make hero calls with worse than Ace high.

From what I've seen there has been a common torching money trend with these 3 ever since they got to Texas. Although I suppose Doug has always had in the uncanny ability as a HU player to justify his terrible full ring plays.

That’s so funny! Everyone knows there’s no continuous shuffle on Dealer’s Angel machines.

I played double board PLO bomb pots at RW with him, he played tight as a drum. Didn't say two words and didn't interact with anyone.

If TBC didn't say anything at the table, consider that a success.

I like the misunderstanding of a "pro."

Pros are defined by their level of competition.

I can earn a living betting on my golf game but that does not make me a member of the PGA.

Alex is a Vegas crusher who came through Houston and won $200k over two weeks in some big PLO and 5 card PLO games. He’s since moved over to Austin and has been crushing there as well. He’s no donkey trust me.

I like Neeme’s play and would have worked against most players

TBC plays $1/2 and buys in for $100

But if he loses a few hundred, then he is using match the table rules if they apply and will have over $1000 on the table, whatever it takes to complete his martingale plan, even in poker. lol

Really? So whatever you do is a profession, and you are a professional?

A professional is characterized by conforming to the technical or ethical standards of a profession and exhibiting a courteous, conscientious, and generally businesslike manner in the workplace.

Imagine saving tuition expenses and telling your mother you are a pro, just like TBC.

I guess the guy on the corner panhandling is a pro.

I didn't comment on the income since the panhandler makes more than many vloggers.

Semantics. Yes, you are wrong. No need to further the discussion. Profession pro professional blah blah blah
