Commit to staying in it (for at least 2 years without being in a hurry to completely replace it with another full time thing), and being so good at it that they can't ignore you. Also, have back up plans in case that room gets closed down.

But don't accept it as a forever gig. Don't be so satisfied with it that you actually allow it to make you complacent and become vision/dream-less. Grind wsop.com .50-1.00 or something. Maybe 3 hours per day for your poker skill and mindset development.

Yes, El Diesel put a ton of work into that video. But it was work that is worth it in the long run because whatever video or editing skill he had before that video must have been raised many times after that video. It is analogous to taking shots against tougher competition with the purpose of improving one's skills. Once a guy steps back down to his normal opponents, he will have even more confidence and skills/advantages against them.

I don't expect him to make videos exactly like that in the future. He'll probably go back to the minimal edits ones. But he just challenged himself to do more difficult stuff and now the easy stuff will be even easier.

Finally, Marle is still by far the most funny of all poker personalities in the pokerverse. But Coach El Diesel is moving up the ranks in the comedy department. His genius is his ability to appear serious while really being hilarious.

2) Dual rate unfortunately does not mean you get paid double

El Diesel is a muscular and athletic kind of fat like Tank Abbott during the early UFCs, not the "fluffy" kind like Gabriel Iglesias. You can tell in his walk and movement that he has the agility of a cat, the fexibility of a balerina, the stamina of a long distance runner, the fast twitch capabilities of a sprinter, the reflexes of a Ninja, and the explosive power of a shotput olympic medalist.

Bought in a 5/10PLO home game and after being down to my last $200 I made a nice comeback and ended up winning $1734! Here are the hands! There’s a lot of things I plan on improving in the near future such as the graphics, I’m going to add villains cards and going to try and record my entire session and just show it in fast forward or slow motion to keep people engaged. Also going to be constantly working on improving my hand analysis to make it more concise and to the point!
