If you are in the middle of the class, at a middle of the pack (or lower) law school...and you don't have some incredible skill or connection...you are very likely to face very bleak prospects.

A lot of attorneys make $40K a year or less. So if that is your fate, why not take a bit less $$$ and do your own thing? Far better to make $35K a year playing poker, moving around the country, talking & joking with people, than looking at papers & a computer screen ALL day (doing low level legal work) for $42K a year with minimal benefits.

Neither situation is good or ideal, but better to be your own boss for just a bit less money?
How do you only make $40K with any skills? $20 an hour?

That vlog has about 350 views so very few people will have seen it (although quite a high % of those are probably ITT)

Sounds like a very good reason to avoid the vlog!

I didn't say they couldn't win, just wouldn't make it a top play and for sure wouldn't bet $500 on it.

Interesting video from Jacob, taking you into the worst areas/neigborhoods in Las Vegas, even some of the tunnel entrances. lol

Naked city isnt that bad... even with all the murders and drugs.

it used to be much worse... and some random white guy walking down to the end of Philadelphia would have ended in tears.

Now days, it's most just low income families and random skinny homeless.

That is a hard listen. These two are probably the most uninteresting duo imaginable on a podcast. Surprised they even have 500 listeners

I'm not sure if Trooper really does have OCD. Pretty sure his stove would not look how it does if he did

For whatever reason, lazy, underperforming people love to say they have OCD.

You remember his OCD in that video with Molly. She put her sunglasses on the counter and he freaked out. But he seemed to think it was fine to sit on the floor and eat take out food with her because he didn't even have his inflatable couch yet.

Those things and then forcing her to watch the movie Heat instead of the Super bowl and she dumped him shortly after.

Many undiagnosed on the spectrum people will self-diag themselves as OCD when it pertains to their quirks.

OCD can manifest itself in many different ways. An ex-coworker of mine who was great at her job was often 20-30 minutes late 3-4x a week. When we had to put her on a final write up, she came clean about her OCD and how she needed help with treatment. She would check the locks on her doors and make sure that her appliances were unplugged many times before leaving the house. Sometimes she would get as far as the block the office building was on, then double back home to make sure that she locked her doors.

She was going as far as to leave the office on lunch breaks to check her locks and appliances. She also said that she had to take the same route to work everyday, street by street. On the few occasions there were road closures in the city, she would park her car on a street on her route and walk the rest of the 2-3ish mile walk city street, by city street to get to the building.

OCD can come in many forms, maybe he doesn't feel like talking about the deeper OCD issues if it is a real diagnosis and not self.

Where I see people blur the lines of OCD is saying it's the reason why they "don't/can't" do something, when real OCD makes you not able to complete/perform a task UNLESS you "do the thing" first that allows you to then complete your next task.

So what does it mean when you do some of those things some of the time, but not all the time. Asking for a friend.

The truth is: I don't have a career, don't have a family, have all the time in the world, these episodes take at most ten minutes to slap together, but I still have dial-up so the video's just been uploading for a month.
