Irony eh! The poster that started this thread is never allowed back in it again.

And any gimmick accounts he makes get deleted so he might just as well stop wasting his time posting in this thread.

I think the few hands Trooper does discuss are more fascinating than the hands I see from other vloggers. He constantly tries to be creative and tricky in these hands and outthink his opponents and it's fascinating to listen to. Andrew often does stuff that's pretty standard but Trooper does a lot of stuff that I would never do which makes it interesting IMO.

Did he ever consider the possibility that villain had a flush after betting flop and turn and raising to $150 on the river? I think it's odd that he considers the possibility that villain might have made a better two pair on the river and never mentions the flush possibility. I guess he put villain on a pair the whole way and stuck to that opinion.

I like both vlogs, however I much prefer Andrew HHs over Troops. Me, a highly rec player likes the methodical and straight forward analysis. Trooper always finds a call.

Trooper managed to lose $621.00 in this early morning game. It's not easy to lose $621 to Nits and OMC's in a short stack morning poker game, but trooper pulled it off.

Trooper is a horrid river calling station.

Trooper needs to sleep late to avoid the easily controlled early morning poker crowd. Short stacks, Nits, and OMC's routinely crush trooper's poker game.

Trooper rarely has a winning poker session before evening darkness sets in.

Is it my imagination that the more trooper thinks he's better than the other players at the table, the more he loses ??

His description of the hand shows how scattered his knowledge of the game is. He gets two pair on the river and leads into the bettor to make it look like a missed flush draw. Villain raises his river bet. Rather than reevaluating where he's at in the hand, Trooper convinces himself the villain fell for his trap and is bluff-raising on a lead-out inducement. Trooper is thinking at level 1 (what he himself holds) and level 3 (what he thinks villian thinks Trooper holds) while entirely overlooking level 2 (what villain holds). This demonstrates that Trooper is stuck in his own head. It's the one of the strangest hand analysis I've ever heard. It's like he read only every other chapter of a poker strategy book.

^^^ Well said.

Trooper just doesn't get it.

trooper's hand analysis makes you want to smack him for being so clueless.

Sure seems that way, I actually enjoyed his videos. I think alot of these guys are realizing how much work it takes to actually put out videos which IMO makes what Trooper is doing daily that much more impressive (Like him or hate him he is putting alot of work into getting these videos out)

Given the popularity of Trooper and Neeme it boggles my mind Kraut doesnt get more views

1/2, 1/3 in this town is not tricky at all. All the guys I know that bleed the most money at it are the ones trying to full off these fancy plays so they have a story to brag about in the group chat.

You've hit the nail on the head. Vlogging and editing is a TON of work, especially if you want it to have a somewhat professional look at least. By far Troopers greatest ability is to put out daily vlogs and still find the time to play poker nearly every day.

I think having done this for over 2 years he's probably found a nice little system on how to churn them out. I'm guessing this is also why people are finding his channel to be rather repetitive nowadays. If he was coming up with new exciting ways of vlogging while doing different activities weekly there's just no way he could put out a video each day.

Kraut is very fun to watch IMO. I've also mentioned I really like Damien Coopers stuff. Vlog popularity on YouTube can be somewhat random.

Jeff - Enjoying your vlog. As a person who only visits LV about once a year in the summer, I enjoy seeing interesting seasonal changes in the places I usually visit.

Also, never hurts to have recommendations on interesting restaurants, especially if they are comfortable settings for one, as I usually travel solo (wife has zero interest in watching me play poker).

Much continued good fortunes for you, Jeff, and thank you for sharing!

In the vlog he said he was playing at 9AM and they were just grinders trying to enter a freeroll. These people were probably playing super tight and I doubt they were bluffing much lol.

I read this forum regularly. Needless to say, it is quite entertaining. What are other "good ones" which talk/discuss Las Vegas poker rooms/scene? I'd appreciate a reply. Thanks.

Losing $600 is nothing. If you want to crush there is going to be some variance. Trooper's haters come out when he has a once in a blue moon loss. No big deal. Trooper isn't going to stop vanquishing his enemies at the poker table.

Yes, because only comments that criticize trooper for losing 200bbs in a 2/3 game with a $500 max buy-in are welcome here. Sometimes I wonder if the people ITT have ever even played poker before.

There isn't much bluff raising on any round. Trooper thinks they bluff all the time and it's an idea he is really confident in.

And the $150 river raise clearly represents enormous strength in a 1-2 game, especially after villain bet flop and bet turn.
