I've seen like 5 of his videos and one of the things that stood out is him mentioning multiple times in multiple videos that he "needed" a win, or his bankroll was low, or some **** to that effect. He's probably pretty overextended like many Americans.

No idea why he’s popular. Just an awful vlog.

Nobody can approach Trooper's suck unless Logan Paul or something decides to start a poker vlog.

Nothing against Troopers girl, but you can’t just wake up one day and go “I’m going to start an eBay business.” You have to have the knowledge of knowing what sells and what doesn’t as well as margins, shipping and handling, etc. It sounds like something you ease into to try and help supplement your income, but she doesn’t have an income to start with so what do I know?

Nothing against you but this is exactly what many people do and then they figure it out or they fail soon after.

I disagree. What you are talking about are all good topics to get into in starting your business.

However, it DOES require someone to "wake up one day and go, "I'm going to start an eBay business." Easier than "going to start a poker businessr" and less risky.

I have no idea what she knows or does not know that might make or break her start-up, but committing to an idea is a crucial first step. Things can evolve from that point.

You have to wake up one day and say “I’m starting XYZ!” But the key is you have to be able to take some lumps learning the nuances of that XYZ.

I have a job that pays the bills, and then I started selling on amazon (toys at first, but then bulk books), and it wasn’t fun but it taught me some things that I transitioned into starting an eBay store that is now, after 6 months, about half my full time job income level.

For both eBay and Amazon I woke up one day after having thought about it and researched for awhile, and I just did it. And each step I lost money at first, but you either learn/evolve or die.

That's funny, awhile back I posted on here calling him a fake, cocky and not as good as he thought he was and many of you were all over his nuts. Vibes isn't even that good and his claims about not having losing months were LOL worthy. Dude's a loser and one of the nut-low people for poker.

The only thing I had against Vibes is all of his virtual signaling bull^%$#. But he seems to have pulled that back a bit. Maybe I'm wrong because I don't watch his videos anymore nor follow him on twitter. But at least I am not hearing about it like I was earlier this year.

I like Vibes videos. There were 2 in particular where he lost a ton of money and / or got knocked out of a big tourney (WSOP, IIRC). He was devastated.

His emotions were real and I think anyone who has played poker could relate.

While I agree with you, and the only way to get better at something is to do it, you still have to have some knowledge of what you’re doing. And they said you are only able to sell 5 items at a time when starting out. Say she makes $10/item per day that’s $50 before fees, S&H, taxes, etc. You’re talking a small side hustle until she’s allowed to sell more. I’m not sure how that works. I’m guessing you have more knowledge on that.

What are the tax ramifications with this?

It's pretty obvious that she doesn't really need a job, she has money from somewhere. The ebay thing would be a hobby. You can ony go out to eat, shop and laugh at Trooper jokes so much without getting bored.

Wouldn’t surprise me. People have made a lot more money from poker than him and still ended up with major money problems.

Like unta8 mentioned, I also think he overextended his finances.
He was paying a lot of rent for his apartment. He also bought that expensive Tesla.
He also lost a lot of money in Reno when he tried moving up stakes and it didn't go so well for him.
I guess his finances weren't as healthy as appearances made out at first.
Funny how a guy who stressed bankroll management so much on his vlogs, didn't have such great bankroll management.
I stopped watching his blogs on anyway. Turn off for me when he constantly tried showcasing his wife Olga.
Ok, she's a beautiful woman, we get that. It was so cringe worthy.
Negreanuesk.

There's also the thing with his clothing line, which seems to have disappeared after his hoodie was worn by Garry Gates at the Main Event and likely caught the attention of Champion, whose brand he was copying without consent.

He didn't even make the hoodie. Champion already sold the thing and he would just buy it and resell at a huge markup. He didn't design anything.

Why would someone move up stakes in Reno, especially a guy that plays in California.

I watched one of his first videos and it looked he filmed most the commentary from an office which I assumed was from a job that was his main source of income. I guess just another over extended guy thinking he’s a baller. I do respect that heed honest about being busted and not making excuses.

Is there space in the poker vlog sphere for a life nit who is a successful cash game grinder with extremely conservative bankroll management who eschews being a baller?

I wonder how some of the bigger poker vloggers like Neeme compare to this guy that makes real estate videos? He has around 200k subscribers and claims to make 30k/mo from YouTube ad revenue.
