Neeme is all but done

Brad Owen is inconsistent and 100% poker with not the editing skill of a prime Neeme

Vibes is inconsistent and tbh I was never all in, but if you liked him before maybe he’s still good

Boski is still great to watch though

Seems like maybe the squeeze wasn’t worth the juice and now poker vlogs are back to being a hobby for the creators, and a watered down inconsistent program for the viewers.

Nice run though
Czech raise Charles is kind of back, I think he is actually really cool and entertaining

I am sure that every poker player that grinds in a casino all day would love to make their lives even more painful and go to airports TSA and fly to random casinos and stay in random rooms without their girlfriends and family... Just to hang out with random dudes at Maryland Live or whatever. Sounds great. lol.

How they get paid, they did not disclose. There are "pub poker leagues" out there where people go to random bars to for small prizes and the bars pay for each table. Probably the same for MUGs. These guys are drawing a ton of people and you can see how many by comparing to how many tables they run on a normal day.

Good for them and it is much easier money than poker and poker variance. I also think it is good for poker to get more people coming out and be welcomed like this.

And quite frankly, I like this a lot better than the guys who shill for shady sites.

****

Am I the only one who is sick of vloggers making videos about Postle but adding nothing to the conversation? It's the same crap coming from everyone, and nothing of it is a new development or any insight. Here is a topic idea for the vloggers struggling to find poker vlog ideas: make a video about any cheating you have experienced in poker games, or casino in general.

Did Neeme or Brad Owen ever comment on Postle? I hadn’t seen anything from them, but I haven’t seen their last couple episodes.

It does seem like the people who have done videos on Postle have gone a bit overboard and it’s gotten pretty tedious.

I guess zero since you said it’s not remotely true that there would be some people playing with Andrew and Brad, never mind...
Wut?? You want me to provide statistics? Okay, how about 25 tables at CCG when they normally get 4 or 5 on a Friday night. I suppose that is just all the normal crowd I guess.

Why don't you email them so they can open up the books for you to satisfy your thesis.

Appreciate you sharing and for the kind words. We have a lot of fun making these types of videos and it provides a creative outlet for me that is far different from the day to day poker grind.

Yea, this is probably accurate. I think I was among his biggest fans two years ago, he absolutely jumped the shark tank at this point.

Trooper, bro, we don't need no more vlogs about ramen, but I fear more are on the way.

I was in Vegas not long ago and talked to a friend of Troopers. Apparently the big depression episode he went through 2 months ago was because his gf told him he either makes a commitment to her and a relationship (included moving in together and less poker) or she was giving him the boot.

We all saw how that turned out.

She will never respect him as a result imo. A man has to be a man.

A few other things....

Didn't he have a relative that died recently? He must have come into some inheritance. He has been losing money like a untapped oil well as of late, spewing off $1000s, and his clothing and hat biz seems almost non existent. Yet here he is getting a new apt, eating at fancy places (not the ramen) and neither he or his gf really seem to work. At all.

And before anyone says 'you tube videos', understand that at the most right now he is making $20 or so a video...if that. You tube has drastically cut down on what they are paying out (not to mention they still get their cut) so at most he is making $1 to $1.50 per 1000 views. When he only gets 6000 views for so a video and puts out only 4 a week or so?

He isn't getting rich. That is maybe, maybeeeee $75 a week.

So either she is supporting him, they are using credit for everything, or he got some inheritance money.

Right now those two are in the honeymoon and everything is new and exciting phase. New types of videos, new apt, new girl in the videos, living together, going out to eat all of the time etc. But you can't keep living that way forever with no real career or direction.

I give it 6 months tops before the shite hits the fan and some major drama ensues.

As for the plethora of Postle videos, they do it obviously because that was something new and exciting in the poker world and people were interested in learning about it so they all jumped on it while the getting was good.

However now it has been so over saturated (and really, who even cares? It wasn't as if he was cheating playing for huge stakes) that I know I at least am well over it and really don't won't to see or hear about it again.

As for RDP, he is a good guy but he for sure let the little fame he received get to his head. Which is understandable I think we all could have fallen into that if being in the same position. Here is to hoping he learns from this, stays more humble, and goes back to being the funny dorky guy we all grew to like.

Sharp post.

Agree with you about RDP..only way he doesn’t lose all his money is if he is smart enough to fade Mush’s pigskin picks each week..

I'm caught up on all his videos and nothing stuck out, not saying that he may have said something shocking because most of the time I am not paying attention and doing other things. Was it him soliciting ideas on how to celebrate two years of Trooper Thursday?

From my limited experience watching YouTube videos, when a male creator starts putting their woman in videos, it usually ends up badly.

I.e. awkward morning videos where the lady is wearing huge shades and hasn't put on makeup, clearly irritated to having to be on camera at a truck stop at 10am.

But troops lady is big smiles in the thumbnails. Haven't watched but still subbed.

Nice run though
They will continue to post enough to keep enough viewer interest to sell them merch/coffee/meet up games, probably not much beyond that. Posting consistent vlogs has diminishing returns after a certain point.

All these guys with 5-10k subscribers, they are all doing this as a hobby basically?? Or is there any real money to be made at all? When you reach 100k subs and 100k or more views per video?

The reference was to his latest video clickbait title about nothing that he did like all the other big vlog makers. He apparently finally learned after all this time that YT video titles matter, maybe some day he will learn that video thumbnails matter too.

I have 9k subs and its 100% just a fun hobby. It's a creative outlet that is way different from playing poker every day. I don't need to make money from it so that will never drive my content. I really enjoy the personal relationships I've built from it. I enjoy helping people both in poker and through my experiences with mental health.

I would guess most others in this range of subs have visions of eventually building up enough of a base to supplement their income. It is a ton of work for not that much return though and it takes a long time to really build anything. If you don't truly enjoy the process it is unlikely that they last very long.

I have seen a lot of your videos after a CRCharles recommendation and they are quite good. It is too bad a lot of the people stop consistently doing them, but I get they need to focus on making a living too.
