Wow. Good to hear about that. Hope he gets some sick rungood in the main.

Youstake should get a small sponsorship deal going with Troop if he sold out in seconds.

Trooper needs to not make the same mistake countless people on social media that have a following make:

DO NOT, under any circumstances WHATSOEVER, engage with/reply to/concern yourself with any haters. You just have to ignore them completely.

I spit my drink laughing after reading this gem below:

He’s just a 5-6 day run from being invited to dump in DNeg’s trailer

Good one Natamus!

You would think Trooper would be happy about getting all the stake money to play the main event. But he is stressing big time in today's video. lol

We'll see if he can restrain himself as in his recent vlog, he starting saying how selling out so quickly is proof that what trolls and haters think doesn't matter. Hopefully it will be his last mentioning of the negative stuff but it just seems like it will be difficult for him to refrain from mentioning the negative comments he gets even if things are going well.

Even in this vlog, he kept complaining about how hard and stressful everything has been with the main event. Instead of basking in the glory of totally crushing his staking set up (he sold out in under 5 min!), he is still stressed and complaining. I wonder what it will take, short of winning the main event, to have Trooper just take a deep breath and relax.

I know that he likes to talk up how his life is so difficult and he works 25 hours a day, 8 days a week, but it seems like he is really just stressing himself out in his own head with all this talk.

Also, totally agree that the Moneymaker Effect 2.0 is the Trooper Effect! We need him to run deep and make a spectacle of the whole thing.

Trooper should also relentlessly contact ESPN and lots of journalists to say he is a vlogger who sold out a package to strangers in 4 minutes.... Could see why they would want to do a story on him

Pokernews is sitting in the Pavilion just inside the door. Trooper is panicking right now deciding what hat and shirt to wear. He should bring a thermos of coffee for Joe Stapleton, etc.

There are plenty of events to play between now and the Main. He should start selling for them all. Freeroll at 1.25, his fans won't care. Ride the wave now, it may be gone tomorrow.

The main event has to be on pretty much any avid poker player's bucket list. Wasn't looking like it was in troopers foreseeable future.
Pretty awesome how things happen these days regarding crowd funding, YouTube, etc...
Happy for troop to get to experience what I'm guessing is at least one of his small dreams.
As annoying as he is I'll still be rooting to see him on his boosted board on one of those ESPN segments.
I guess start studying ICM and stuff like that?

Here in lies the problem with Tim. Whether it's pride or whatever he won't admit his game has major holes and needs improvement. In fact I am at a loss that he doesn't try to improve on his own without coaching. He manages his time poorly and I guess he needs the vlog and hat and coffee sales to survive but it doesn't help his poker game long term.

If he is lucky enough to have fans that will spend their money on someone who is unproven in tournaments with little earnings God Bless him but my money would go to types like Foxen etc.

Having met Tim I can say I genuinely feel as though he is mostly stressed about losing other people's money. That's it.

Meh, I hope he just wings it. It isn't like the best player wins that event every year. Hell, the best players don't even finish in the top 100 every year. Why isn't the final table full of Ivey, Negreanu, Hellmuth, Dwan, etc... every year? Or any year? Moneymaker wasn't the best player the year he won.

Boski is certainly the best tourney player among the vloggers and he hasn't even cashed in 10 tries (run better Jeff).

In the bigger picture, yes, Tim should work on his game, but for the ME, just try to pick the best spots and go for it. Full of landmines and all.......

He could save face and tell his viewers that he needs to brush up on his tournament strategy and get up to date on new concepts.
Completely understandable and it will help his overall game.

Mind boggling how he cannot want to improve. He's obviously making a living with what he's doing but imagine if he turned losses into $400+ a week from his 1-2 sessions. He's be on easy street by his standards.

This is solid advice. However, I think maybe engaging with haters adds a level of drama that makes his vlogs a little bit more interesting to his fans. I am not sure on this but maybe...

This is from Old Man Coffee in the Trooper Thursdays game. Don't want to hate on an old man especially one with the sense of humor to wear an OMC hat but wow it's legit some of the worst poker I've ever seen in a video.

Two best ME outcomes for entertaining online poker vlogs after WSOP:

1. Boski win, or
2. Trooper win

after battling HU at Final Table
