I don't know if it is safe for Trooper to own a gun. He is either depressed , manic, or hangry

Trooper must have hit a bbj. There's no way he can afford his lifestyle. Dude is actually a talented dealer he could work part time on side.

He did hit a BBJ it was awhile ago though.

He worked when he had to.

My calculations come out to:

he doesn't have to.

Tim was one of the best dealers in Vegas at one point, no cap. Even at 1/1 NL Linq games, he was getting Redbirds routinely on pots.

The Linq poker room was one of the best spots for getting absolutely wasted and seeing flops for cheap and getting a mini "slut parade" experience like the MGM room. Bonus points for Alicia, the dealer.

Boski,

Just watched last three videos, very nice.

Two of my takeaways:

-After your Ax hand where you decided not to value bet a K river and the guy showed up with KK, I thought to myself that was another example of those *lucky* moments you need to win a tournament. Just like 77>QQ in a way.

Then another example came up where you folded the A9 to A3 and 55 and would have won. Not thinking results-oriented, but just another example of a *lucky* decision you need to make to win tournaments.

-completely unrelated, the PLO. In both of your big spots a higher-end player is shipping pretty much every time. Excluding results completely, the C-bet with the AA is standard on that flop. And then the 89T hand, you literally deciphered it because pretty much 100% of the time they both have JQ there and probably a draw and you had 40% equity. That being said, I also appreciate you are playing at the top of your game range and have Moneymaker on your right!

I'm not trying to tell you anything, you are a far better player than me. Just putting it out there for conversation.
Good luck at WSOP Boski, I think this is your year buddy.

Thanks for the feedback 27o,

You are correct that you have to run good in many ways to win a poker tournament. The K on the river hurt, but it was not as big of a swing to my stack as the AK<77 allin pre on day 1 or the AJ<77 on day 2. Have to get them to fold or win the flip! Same with the A9dd fold.

I am not as well versed in PLO cash but I have some basic understanding of the game. It is strange how equities run where I can have a set in a 3 way pot and even if my opponents both show me the nut straight, I am still 40% to win and have to get all my money in. Maybe I need TTxx instead of 99xx to call there in the future because if one of the players has TTxx I am drawing very slim as opposed to me having TTxx and one opponent could have 99xx or 88xx. I will have to run some equity sims before I play a PLO MTT or the PLO live cage in October.

I am already registered for 13 events at the WSOP and am looking forward to it. The mental game may be my biggest leak. Getting too emotional at the tables is tough to avoid. My A game is one of the best in the world, but being in that zone is a tough place to find many times. Especially if I am losing pot after pot and if there is an unbathed Frenchman sitting next to me

I've sent an email to the WSOP and asked them to ban unbathed Frenchmen.

I went through the math for the T98 hand. If Boski calls, he is 38.59% in a three-way $2100 main pot and 35.00% in a $1540 heads-up side pot. So, if he calls, he expects to win $1349.39. He has to call $1415, so the EV of calling is -$65.61.

Being up against two straights with no boat blockers is one of the better scenarios for Boski's hand, so his EV against their ranges is worse.

Some higher-end winning players are degens who will ship there because they like the action and on-the-fly assume it might be only slightly -EV and could be +EV, but don't have the math down. Maybe there are good meta reasons for making loose plays at certain tables, but in a vaccuum, calling would be bad.

Vloggers are upping their game. Some nice quality blogs coming from Brad, Neeme, and Boskie with a lot of good hand analysis.

Not hearing much from Marbles despite her saying she was going to put out a few vlogs of hand analysis after her last game. I don't miss her at all.

Carry on.

P's & Q's newest vlog had a really good lesson/message at the end. She's a newer poker vlogger from CA that visits Vegas regularly.

Forewarning for the "purists", No poker hands or HHH's in this vlog though.

I like Boski, but his habit of belittling other players is one of the worst traits someone can have at the poker table.

What is so hard to believe about that? Not a good enough mix of confidence and humility in one sentence for you?

At least Jeff’s pushing what like over 3/4 of a million in live and online tournament results - and he’s not even charging 1.4 on a package

A very loose usage of "habit" I asked the Munson why he called my 4 bet pre with AJo. Seems like a reasonable question.

That hand was a head-scratcher. Min-raising his 35k 3! to 70k and leaving 45k behind is what OMC's and old ladies I play with do. This is not what a BOSKI does and please never do it again. Just rip it in or fold. Sounded like the guy was being douchily sincere saying he would have folded to a jam.

I also thought at the time that a good reply to you inquisitive needle after the hand would have been simply "I never fold when donkeys minraise me and their remaining stack is half the minraise..."

ZING!

Drops food, picks it up, eats it, and is kind enough to get it all on camera for us.

Eats until he's full. Then some more.
