Been enjoying it the last few hours it’s been a fun experience, even if the infrastructure around the strip gives off too much heat for the snow to “stick” I bet it will be a fun drive into Summerlin or
Any of the hilly outlying areas in the AM

Neeme's influence is really impressive from the drone usage to the music. I think Boski has now inherited the innovator label and is producing some really outstanding stuff. I think back in 2006 2+2 would have resented Ryan D. It's really good to see how much people appreciate his excellent vlogs as well. I'm grateful to all of them for putting forth the labor and effort they do.

Thanks Chicagodude. I always try to keep my vlogs consistent and creative. Viewers seem to love the hand histories but I like to always add in some humor or food porn.

Meanwhile in Vegas...

I can't believe not paying was even a consideration. If I had been notified that I had been paid an extra $5k, and then confirmed by going through my records that it had in fact occurred (which I'm sure that you did as well), then I would have paid it back immediately even if I had never planned on visiting a Harrah's property again.

I sure hope that you were kidding with this whole should-I-keep-it-or-should-I-pay-it-back "dilemma," and that was just a skit for your vlog.

Boski latest vlog

Spoiler:
Yeah, surely he noticed at the time of being double paid.... I know its only $5k, but at some stage you would be balancing the accounts (since he says he is a professional poker player), and his buy ins are around the $400 mark, then $5000 over or under would stand out.

so I am thinking he knew at the time and decided to see how long he could ride it out for. It caught up with him and then he paid.

I would have them comp me the $250 tourney if they want their 5k back.
It can't hurt to ask. And obviously if I frequent Harrahs properties for tournaments and other things then I am giving back the money regardless.

begs some questions:

1. How does one not notice an extra $5k in their account? Are poker players that blind to their finances, or is Boski crushing so hard $5k isn't a blip.

2. How does a massive F up by them only net a food voucher. They should be held liable a bit more than that no? I don't know the proper way to go about requesting something, and I'd probably give it all back b/c I'm a wuss, but it feels like them making such a big mistake should warrant at least a ton of comps, not just a dinner.

I love Jeff’s vlogs but wouldn’t agree that this is great for his reputation - the “a lot was going on last summer” or whatever was pretty lol - I remember him min cashing a few tournies but he 100% didn’t accidentally get paid that 5k - was his only decent Rio score. Like the above poster said he free-rolled them.

I’m not judging him cause screw Harrahs/Rio but let’s not consider this an ethical triumph.

Why didn't he look at his bank accounts and tally up all of his winnings from last year and deposits? It should be pretty easy to tally up tournament entries, cashes, and deposits. Especially for someone who pays taxes on his earnings.

Not sure why he folded right away and paid up without doing some research on his finances.

P.S. this thread is about to blow up. #Boskigate

They paid him out twice in cash? So I guess Boski has no records on his side to confirm he did in fact get paid twice for the tournament?
So what happened last year is that he went to the cashier, got the $4.9k payout and then he didn't give his payment stub back or something and went back later and got a 2nd payout of $4.9k?

Assuming he did in fact get paid twice, it seems like an ez decision to pay them back. His lifetime EV at Total Rewards properties and the WSOP is going to be way, way higher than $4.9k. It's nice that you got a free loan for a year, but it's the right thing and the +EV thing.

I'm not a fan of how Harrah's handled this. It has been 7+ months since the double cash out, and probably many months since they have figured it out. They should be sending a letter with proof instead of letting the player know he/she is banned from all properties while trying to register for a tournament.

As played, I think Boski included it in his vlog for dramatic effect and wasn't really considering not paying that money back. Although we will let the man speak for himself since he frequents this thread.

yeah this.

Also if Rio figured it out they were $5k short, then Boskis excuse of "lot of money going in and out" doesn't really hold.

This is heading into Trooper territory. You are playing it of like you didn't know.
The internet can sniff out the disingenuous quickly

Yeah it does seem unlikely that he would get paid twice for a tournament and not notice. Come on, Boski, you can fess up that you were trying to freeroll Harrahs.

He's actually lucky they didn't press charges if indeed he brought the ticket back up to the cage. This isn't some oversight on his part, but an intentional action to try and get double paid, big difference. If they wired/direct deposited him twice without him taking any additional steps, fair play then and pay the money back. BUT, him trying to be sneaky and seeing if the cashier would recash him out, well, isn't that fraud? Super ballsy to do anything like that in the state of Nevada.

At a local casino (outside of Nevada) there was an ATM which had the bills loaded incorrectly, dispensing 100s when it was supposed to dispense 5s or 20s (can't remember the exact bill exchange). A couple was charged with grand theft in which they inserted 20s to make change and kept getting 100s. They did it over a 2-3 day period and were caught shortly after and charged after getting a few k from the machine. In this scenario they didn't manipulate the machine, just exchange bills. However, they were charged anyway. Boski's acts seem way more egregious and LOL at the tourney director giving him a food voucher (clearly he didn't fully understand what Boski did/tried doing).

Not sure I'd be vlogging about a clear act of grand theft against a casino in the State of Nevada.

He said at the end of the year they paid him again. Not sure what he means, They sent the money to his bank? He never said he used the card to try to dupe them into paying again.

I doubt he would make a video about it if he did it on purpose. A lot of assumptions itt.

The cage summary reports states being manually paid cash on 7-1 and again on 7-14 (EV55 PL12). That can only happen by him presenting the stub twice.
