It's still on Caesar's website.

So that's another choice for Teppanyaki if it's still there, but we prefer to walk and that's a haul coming from Trop.

For next time, try the riserva steak at carnevino - a truly distinctive experience, which should not leave you feeling like the steak is your least favorite part of the meal.

I've been to both Prime and Carnevino, and preferred the sides at Prime.

Yes, it's closing.

IIRC, that was the stracciatella.

The only place I can seem to find is Sage, but the menu looks a tad boring and the reviews in this thread aren't great. e and Joel Robuchon are already booked full that evening.

Any other suggestions? Price is not really an issue, but don't mind cheaper places if the food is really good.
Guy Savoy?

So, my 17th[?] trip out for March Madness weekend. Have eaten at most places, staying at Cosmo this year. So far, have reserved:

Wed: STK
Thu: Picasso
Fri: Onda [seeing show at Mirage]
Sat: ????

Looking for something fairly nice, but not quite Guy Savoy/Robuchon level [and have eaten there already anyway]. Also not looking to fight LV traffic on Sat nite to go somewhere far. So, our default will be Jaleo if we don't get a better suggestion, but I know Clark can hook me up with a few names.

As long as you are at the Cosmo, and if you like seafood - Estiatorio Milos? Save Jaleo for a larger group?

I would look you up for a little lit chat, but I think I'm going to see the comedian John Pinette at The Orleans that Friday or Saturday...waiting to hear from others.

Veal Tonnato. I thought it could have used a touch more salt or capers that carried more of a punch.

How can it be Veal Tonnato given the poster said it was a pork dish?

Anyone have any reviews on Gordon Ramsey steak? Trying to decide between there and prime for this Friday night

Perhaps because I was sitting next to him when I ordered it for the table to share and he was mistaken about what it was.

Thinking of doing Sage next Vegas trip and it appears to be highly recommended in this thread. Anyone done $89 signature menu? Seems like a good deal.

Meh for both. Ramsays >>> Prime though. Ramsays is really bright and loud with blaring music and Prime is really dark and quiet and really comes with no surprises or any attempt to deviate from an upscale steakhouse.

I've heard good things of Craft and think Cut / SW is better than either place you were considering.

Thanks for the input! I was originally gonna go with SW but heard that Ramsey's and prime were better.

My experience at Craft is poor at best. Don't go there.

Could you go into greater detail and do you consider it poor due to your overall fine dining experience or would you consider it poor even if you had very little fine dining experience?

His fine dining experience is extensive so his bar is higher than most. I would agree there are better choices. Of course I can't distinguish pork and veal.

Are there better choices near the Trop (the location around Walgreens is the farthest we'd want to walk)? We may have time to fit in one more nice dining experience and since I'm indulging her on the lobster/crab by going to Shibuya, she would indulge me by going to a steak place. Craft is our first choice for steak because of the menu, location, and the fact she watches Top Chef.
