I used one at the Mexican place at the Palazzo, which is a fairly high-end place.
I thought they were only good for the nearest food court (not the one upstairs), Noodle Asia and Grand Lux Cafe.
Good to know...
thanks

POTY nominee. My favorite: $30+ meals and a whole $100 on a shirt and jacket.

That's gold Jerry, gold!

I know it's fast food, but dear God I would die for an Earl's Caribbean Jerk Chicken sandwich right now.

Gotta love the devolving of the thread to the 'rip acdawg712 thread'. It's surprising no one called me out on it until now. I was a bit heated when I typed that, but I just wanted to show that I spend the normal Vegas expenses without complaint and that I'm not cheap at all. I was just raised not to waste food. The jacket and shirt is just the aria golf jacket and t-shirt ben lamb wore during the wsop me. Nothing exquisite, wasn't bragging or anything.

Earl of Sandwich is awesome. I think I had the jerk chicken as well. They had it at college (U of Michigan) but for some reason, I only ended up having it 2-3 times. I regret not having it more, as I rarely seen a store here on the East Coast.

Went to Kaku Makinos "Makino" Japanese restaurant on Saturday... awesome as always for a casual diner.

half way thru my sushi extravaganza in walks a family of four, and who was leading the way? #51 form Da Bears!

walking around completely unrecognized except for myself, Dick Butkus and family sat one table away. I politely greeted Mr Butkus as we both walked along the buffet line, he being cordial and friendly. I left him alone until I departed and I simply told him... have a good night sir.

One thing I have to say, Dick is a huge man... I am 5'10" 200lbs and he towered over me and looked as if he could still rip off my head and shyte down my neck.

so nice to see a legend and an icon of the game enjoying himself in vegas in anonymity.

I had the best breakfast yesterday at Blueberry Hill on Flamingo Rd (near UNLV). Doesn't look like much from the outside.

Chicken Waffles were outstanding. So too were the Biscuits and (sausage) gravy. Unfortunately, the Eggs Benedict with chorizo was sub-par so get something else!

I highly recommend the first two dishes and even though it was only breakfast, this is up there with the best food I've eaten in Vegas.

The night before that, I had Johnny Smalls (Tapas) at Hard Rock on Paradise Rd. It's $24.95 for the all you can eat menu which includes almost every item.

The standout dish was the Spicy Bird (spicy chicken mini sandwiches with soft fluffy sweet bread). Carne Asada was also very good. Poona Tuna was fairly good as was The Shorty (short rib).

Deep fried green beans were meh. The watermelon salad was stupid. Didn't care too much for the Chili Dogs, they were too big and tasted like the kind you could get at a 7/11 or a ball game

Favorite delivery options that would deliver to Panorama? The fee for anythinguwantdelivery is a little intense if you aren't ordering for a group.

ya, anythinguwant is awful unless you absolutely need someone to go get you something at 4am. not only do they charge a stupid amount but they're also terrible at what they do. they take forever and aren't good at bringing you what you ask for.

when i lived at panorama i ordered pretty much all of my delivery food from roadrunner. if you're starving after midnight and don't want to pay for/deal with anythinguwant, Cafe Verde is reasonably priced and delivers 24/7. It's pretty damn bad, but it's fast and cheap. The veal, chicken, eggplant, or meatball parm subs are probably the least offensive things on the menu. The pizza is fine. The wings are pretty much inedible.

I didn't read the entire thread but I just want to add one spot...

Pho #1 is by far the absolute best Vietnamese restaurant in Vegas and I've tried them all. It is located a little off Chinatown, on Mountain Spring Road. Keep going away from the strip and it is on your left hand, a few blocks from the actual Chinatown.

Its specialty is rice paper wrap at your table. Basically, you order what meat you like; specialty is shrimp, squid & beef. Then you grill it at your table and then you wrap the meat into a rice paper, add a bunch of different vegetables, and voila you dip into their sauce and there you have it....

Mark of a good restaurant with good food: the place is always always crowded at every hour of the day.

I'll be in Vegas in June and I promise you I will eat at this place at least 3X a week.

For those interested, I googled the place and the exact address is

4745 Spring Mountain Road

FYI, the place looks like a kitchen, servers are okay, but good food with good prices.

Trop and Dean Martin, and telling you the best way to get there would require knowing where you're coming from.
