How are the Bobby Flay burgers from his stand in Paris? I know nothing of Flay other than I've heard the name before.

I haven't had them so I can't say for sure... posh burger in aria next to the poker room is pretty decent.

My pov would be more than decent for Posh Burger. Fries were fine without being exceptional but I thought the burger was vg

Fine, nothing special, plenty edible, bit spendy for what it is. To me, a place you wouldn't ever necessarily plan around, but if you find yourself nearby, needing something solid and quick, sure.

Anyone tried the new Guy Fieri’s in Horseshoe? Looks like just piles and piles of random ingredients for too much money (on brand) but might be staying there next month and if there are any menu highlights I’m certainly willing to check it out.

Recently went to Fieri’s at the LINQ, it’s not terrible for what it is. No experience at his Horseshoe outlet. Anything on the strip is going to be overpriced.

Fieri makes the type of food I love but yeah I looked at the menu years ago for the place at Linq and the prices were just insane. $20 appetizers and wings, $25 for nachos or a burger. The menu is basically the same at the new place. I'd check it out if I was staying there.

I went to Flavortown Sports Kitchen this past Saturday evening so here's a first person experience. Like others said, the menu is comprised of comfort food that is a little pricey. I got the Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinner ($28.99) which is a fried chicken breast and thigh, some jalepeno cornbread, some cole slaw, and a tiny amount of mac 'n cheese. The chicken was moist, even the breast, and the coating crunchy so they got that right. Yardbird's chicken is a more traditional fried chicken than this version but I enjoyed this version. A $16.99 24 oz Blue Moon and a $16.99 banana creme brulee dessert rounded out the bill.

My verdict: I liked the entree, the beer was typical inflated Strip pricing, and the dessert was just ridiculously priced. Anyone that has been on the Strip recently won't be shocked by the inflated price point. It's not a must visit but I would return if that is what I was feeling for dinner.

Isn't this basically standard and maybe even on the cheap side for the strip? I remember like 12 years ago paying $28 for a burger somewhere and thinking how absurd it was, but dining prices have pretty much doubled everywhere since then, so for the strip that just seems standard for me.

I am morally opposed to having a serious conversation about GF’s food. But this does remind me of the menu spoof from 2013, lol

Yeah. I've been to his Mexican place because there was some event there. And I went to one of his other places once to just have a quick breakfast. Tastes like a crappy chain restaurant. Not inedible or anything, but very low quality. Any random Mexican takeout is better, for like 1/4 the price. Dude def has no respect for his audience, and correctly so.

I'll push back on Bobby's burgers though. I thought the burger and fries were both outstanding.

I’ll pushback on your pushback. I’d be happier at five guys than Bobby’s burgers. Burger is similar quality and fries are way better at five guys. The thing about Bobby flay is that if you ever ate at mesa grill, he had two burgers on the menu that were both blow your socks off. Bobby’s burgers doesn’t have anything to do with making a good burger, it was how to most efficiently maximize profit, so they cut every corner and saved every penny.

12 years ago I had the best burger of my life at GR Burger in PH. Went recently and was very disappointed. Soggy and poorly balanced, flavor-wise. 2/5

Aria Proper Eats:
Wexler's Reuben sandwich: 5/5
Wexler's lox bagel: 2/5 ridiculously thin salmon slices
Shalom Y'all Chicken Shawarma: 4.5/5

Resorts World Food Court ramen: 4/5

Bavette's Steak Frites: excellent steak 5/5. I got mild food poisoning 6 hours later, and I'm not sure if it was from there, but don't know what else it might have been. I did consume a lot of their house-made bernaise sauce (which was delish), and that might have been it.

Maybe I misjudged it. The first time I ate there I thought it was fine. The second time, I thought it was excellent.

I try to eat healthfully most of the time now that I'm older, so sometimes when I indulge I might just overreact to the fact that I'm eating a burger and fries. But now I have no choice but to try it a third time to make a final evaluation.

I will say, I think he puts potato chips on some of the burgers, which to me is disgusting. So whatever I had, it wasn't that.

Just came back from Anthony's Sunday Brunch buffet for $99. Lobster, beef wellington, prime rib and lamb were all elite. Selection is small, but super high quality on the expensive items. I have 3 more reservations in the next 8 months and will keep them all.

Man the restaurant business is broken. Booking 8 months out is insane for anything, let alone a buffet. No offense to socal he is just playing the game but it’s designed for nerds that don’t know how to speak to someone on a phone or talk to someone in person to get a reservation.

Finally after a few years went to oyster bar at santa fe station. I just don't have the patience for Palace Station waiting lines (anyone have a secret time or day to go pm me i would be forever grateful).

Overall it was a nice experience. Waitstaff were very friendly, my wife loved the caesar salad and fish and chips. Clam chowder was the only clear miss of the night but that isn't what they specialize in.

What anyone cares about, the pan roast. I would say that it definitely reminds you of the palace station version, but it did still lack the depth of flavor and it skewed slightly too tomato based. For me palace station still has by far the best pan roast, followed by legends barely edging out santa fe although Legends last two deliveries haven't been as good. The new Greek/oyster bar at Red Rock was incredibly disappointing and very expensive and the pan roast you have to stay away from at all costs is at South Point.
