Went to Milk Teaze yesterday. The blacked out windows of the 2nd floor back corner location of the shopping plaza made me feel like I was going for a Nuru massage lol. 2 girls working. They took turns sitting down at my table and flirted for a few minutes. One was cute, other meh. Bare frat/dorm feel in there. The Thai boba tea was actually pretty good tho!

Sweet. Planning on checking it out on Monday...

Took a friend to Chada the other night for her first time and tried a couple new things I haven't had before.

You really can't go wrong I've found. Place is phenomenal.

Still really angry we went to Holsteins instead of Chada. I can't believe anyone here has ever recommended that ****ty burger place. My shake was over 50% whipped cream and my friend didn't even get his. Also expensive as balls Lolsteins.

In multiple trips to Holsteins I can't remember seeing a single adult male drink a shake..

I also can't remember anyone in here recommending the shakes there. It's a pretty nice place to have a burger and beer though.

Ya my recollection is that we were $100 out the door (for two) last time we went to Holsteins for like a beer, burger, and shared app. Enjoyed the burger but god damn.

I used to really like holsteins, last time I was there sort of left a bad taste in my mouth. They changed a number of the shake options that weren't good, and the fries and burgers were just slightly above average. For what the bill will be at the end, just simply not worth it.

At least when I go to Ramsay's Burgr, I feel like the check is worth what I paid for because the burger/fry/appetizer is always really good

It's been a couple years, but BurGR had the best wings I've had in Vegas.

It's funny cause I was gonna say Burgr is so much better but that seemed wrong. Everyone just freaks out about lolRamsey.

I've been a big supporter of Holsteins in the past (although right from the gate I've recommended to sub the onion rings in and forget the fries)

I was in town a couple of weeks ago and went to Holsteins once and once only. That's about as bad an indicment as I can give. Onion rings are still great though!

Went to Lola's in the Arts District after wj94's review of the Summerlin location, it is clearly more than just legit.

Almost full 7 p.m. Monday (!), solid crowd, and pleasant Deep South ambiance.

Between us we had a po'boy with fried oyster, one with bronzed catfish, sides of homemade potato salad and coleslaw. Everything had good flavors and showed tight execution. Other guests' orders looked very inviting as well.

The lemonade was the weakest point, may have been from a carton, but drinkable. Including an appropriate tip we left $35, and will be happy to return.

I ate at P.U.B. at aria last night and while sitting at the bar had some of the worst service I have every experienced on the strip. We waited about 10 minutes to place drink orders even though there were three bartenders working to avoid our glances. We were starving so we put up with the awful service. Apps were above average, especially the full chicken wings. The lobster rolls were a let down, not as much lobster meat and too much filling. 4 old fashioneds, 2 apps, and 2 lobster rolls for two people came out to $140 bucks. Combined with beyond awful service I won't be going back anytime soon.

We have eaten at the bar twice and at a table twice, totally agree the service at the bar is horrible even when they are not that busy. Server last week for our table on a Fri night at 8pm was awesome.

Also agree most of their apps are pretty bad however lobster roll on that toasted butter bun to me is way above ave. Cole slaw is not full of mayo and the chips seem like they are made in-house. Hubby tried Lobster Me this trip and felt the pricier option at TE Pub was better.

I think coastal towns vs desert towns are going to win on lobster roll quality overall.

Had a nice meal at Glutton last night. Got there 6:15 so happy hour was still on (some $5 apps and BOGO wine by the glass and beer).

Had
pickled tomatoes and burrata ($5 HH)
shaved Brussels sprouts salad w kale etc. ($5 HH)
BOGO Albariño ($12 for 2)
Short rib fried rice ($17ish)
Black pasta ($17ish)

Total was $61 pre-tip

Plenty of food. Everything was very good for the price, and the HH apps were exceptional value. The wine was underwhelming at $12 (as was the rest of their by the glass list), but perfectly reasonable at $6. Was totally drinkable and a generous pour. There are some retail $25-30 bottles on their by-the-bottle list for $45-50, so probably best to go with those if you care about wine. Beer list was small but had a decent variety ranging from a couple good craft beers to Miller High Life. Damn hipsters.

All-in-all, we'll definitely be back there. Nice place, decent service, very good food. They screwed up a dish but got us the right dish quickly and apologetically, and they ran out of the bottle of wine we ordered, so we just finished our meal without ordering more wine. I guess that means they have some room to improve in overall experience, but nothing that's a dealbreaker.

Yes I went to Lobster ME about a month ago, their locations in Washington DC have a far greater quality than here, I guess Vegas is understandably not a lobster roll town.

Girlfriend and me tried Glutton foe brunch yesterday...really enjoyed it. Like you noted, the drinks are expensive....they were the most expensive items on our bill!

The food is mostly locally farmed and the eggs are free range. The brunch drink and cocktail list is pretty awesome, even if it is expensive.

We had this:

Banana nut bread with salted coconut butter, and pickled tomatoes with whipped ricotta, basil, and grilled bread

Peaches & Cream Waffle with vanilla whipped cream, almond streusel, and salted caramel bourbon sauce. And a side of scrambled eggs!

Here's the menu:

We really loved it. There are a few great, little places right around that stretch of Crson and 7th Street.

Glutton is a definite recommend.

Sushi Twister, NW corner Boulder Hwy & Tropiicana (next to 7-11 and Starbucks). $27 AYCE. It's small, but everything you would expect at Oyshi without the loud music, lines, and the drive to the Westside.

the location may sound a little bad, but the restaurant is not a joke. the owners (who are experienced Japanese chefs) also own Ramen Sora and Hachi, 2 other good eateries.
