I think it's more likely that the enterprise ended predictably badly. I just hope not really badly.

Didn't he have 20k? if he paid back the 9k he owed, or almost 30k if he didn't. How would he lose all that in a week or so? Playing 5/10nl and drop 20+ buy ins? It just doesn't make sense.

It does when you factor in the roulette wheel . . .

Unfortunate, yes. But a degen is gonna degen.

I'm still optimistic about an end to the story . . . regardless of fact or fiction.

It's very easy to lose a lot of money in Vegas over a bad weekend, especially if you jump in stakes chasing losses. It just snowballs from there and it's ugly. Been there, done that. I just want to know if OP is at least ok at this point.

But he said he gets respect at the table back home.

Go to any high limit baccarat/blackjack room on a weekend - there will be people betting 10k+ a hand

Don't even have to be high limit. You know how easy it is to lose 20k at a blackjack table if you're a tilting degen? half a bad shoe is all it takes.

He was playing Wynn 2/5 which has a $1500 cap. Wynn 5/T is uncapped. It's very normal to buy into that game for $10k+.

I've played in that game before when nearly every hand it cost $250 to $300 to see a flop.

The dude himself said he had self control problems. Having no income, being $9k in the hole and taking out a $30k high interest loan was never going to turn out good, even for a solid and disciplined player.

MODS: Can we close this thread out and temp ban OP for wasting everybody's time?

Not wasting anyones time, you would be looking at all the different posts regardless if this is here or not. No different than the Vloggers thread.

Not wasting my time.

In fact, I'm enjoying this thread, and the reactions it has garnered.

Here’s how you solve the problem:

02-04-2020 , 08:38 PM
did you take a photo of your computer screen instead of a screenshot?
02-04-2020 , 08:45 PM
Yes, I use tapatalk for the upload. Too much hassle from computer pic.

They REALLY need to make it easier to upload a picture from the desktop version.

Really? My trips to Vegas are usually 4-5 days at a time and I can say I have never dusted off $30K, but for a low limit player in both sports book and the poker room I've punted off quite a bit in a very short time.

$30K seems reasonable in the time frame we are talking about.

Hopefully he got his player's cards so he'll at least get a comp room or 2 for his 30k

We joke about tunnels but that might very likely be the case for OP. Guy self banned from his home casino so he has gambling problems. He likely blew his role and he said he doesn’t have family or support back home. Guy is probably broke and homeless.

Any Vegas residents have a couch for OP?

Pretty obv he won a few 5/10 sessions then ran it up north of 200k at roulette and is now in a villa @mirage. He isn't posting because high priced whores and drug dealers are distracting him. Get a grip guys
